What's even more crazy is jungle break beats began in very late 80s right into 90s. I would know because I'm legit 70s child AND Traks Club in Ybor City Tampa Florida had $2 import night on Thursday night. All the DJ spun was this!

@@kenrickbaughman992 Really? I have never heard about 80s early-form of jungle. As it's an offshoot of U.K rave Breakbeat it sounds surprising. Or you mean Break in general? Florida was ahead with Florida Break and an original take on Electro, Miami Bass etc. Maybe the Amen Break remixed was there before we ever talked about Jungle in U.K

liquid/intelligent drum and bass are just different terms for jungle my man. The only trend relating to this that I would say is kind of annoying or misleading is when just regular drum and bass or even jungle is called "breakcore". Breakcore as I'm sure you know is waaaaayyyy different from dnb even if they share similar DNA so I don't think that they should be conflated
