bro you are seriously the most metal guitar player ive ever seen
So crazy seeing how geeked out he is over johns signature. How is he that humble with that amount of talent?

Very cousy video!
Nice gear!! You prefer a digital section in Digitech 2101 than a Gforce or Gmajor? I plan buy a Triaxis and a FX rack. You recommend a Digitech for a digital effects? Forgive me my bad english.
How do you like the Vintech x73's? Is that the 73 or 73i? I'm thinking about getting either the Vintech 273, eitch should be about the same as 2x x73i's... But then there's GTQmkIII??... rantings of a mad man, i know!
Ethan you are a legend man. Is there any chance you could point me in the right direction for tones similar to the ones you designed for "by the sword?" I really don't want to offend you or anything if you want to keep it private. but It would seriously make my entire life.

Thanks so much for your kind words. The tone on that one is a little interesting. I used the ENGL E646 VS Limited Edition plug-in from UAD for the amp tones, with some post EQ, compression and delay. The guitar was my old Ibanez S series 7 string from 2000. I had a Blaze Custom pickup in the bridge and an Air Norton 7 in the neck. However, the bridge pickup wasn't working properly. One of the coils was dead, and it created a thinner, brighter sound than usual, which I thought was really cool. I've since replaced the pickup with a Tone Zone 7, but honestly, I miss a little of what it did with the damaged coil. Thanks again!
