If someone randomly started firing maths questions like this off on me, I'd just refuse to answer. I'm currently scoring 90%+ on every examinable component of my degree and scored an A in maths in school. Am I pathetic? There's a reason mental maths is only in the curriculum for under 11s. It doesn't say anything about someone's intelligence.
