Nice video guys. I commented about a month ago about this unit. This is much more informative and gives me a good idea of the performance of it. There's definitely a niche for this unit in what I do. I'm going to look into purchasing it in the near future. And for those of you that may turn your nose up about the flail mower, this is not comparable to a large forestry mulcher. It will not take down a 10 in. Oak tree, but for what it does, it does very well. Even though its rated for 2 in. material, you could probably mulch a tree of about 3 in. or a little larger pretty easily by raising the boom and easing it down on the tree. I'm sure that Eterra probably couldn't show you that for liability purposes. If you keep it within the range of what it's designed to do it will however leave a finer finished product than most forestry mulchers. It definitely has a place. Thanks for the video guys

Just replaced my Ditch Witch SK850 with a Vermeer CTX 100. I already owned the Sidewinder and the CTX 100 makes this cutter sing.

Could you do it without music or slowmotion? Also show it hitting some brush piles?

I’m interested in startling a small land clearing business in Florida. We have a lot of scrub oak, vines, saw palm patches and down dead brush. Could this machine handle this type of clearing?

What is the horsepower and flow of the unit that you're putting it on and what size/type of material are expecting it to cut productively?

I have boxer on the way for July, im very interested in this vs a bushhog style cutter

Hey Cody! The Boxer's are great. We've had zero issues even though our machine is a tad older. Next machine we do want to try is a Vermeer. Like the video explained, With the SideWinder you're going to get great cut capacity and the material left behind is going to be ground up. It's also a lot safer as it won't turn big objects into projectiles. There is a use for everything. Skid Steer Solutions I spoke with you guys a few months ago but wasn't prepared to but at the time. I'm still interested in buying the unit possibly before the end of the year if there are any more promotions coming up. As with all of my mini skid equipment, I like making videos of performance on the job, as well.

Will there eventually be a wider model? My mini is 42" wide and it would be nice to have a cut width slightly more than my track width.

Brian H I just bought one for my SK 850. You're only going to have 3 inches of track on each side that aren't covered. That's going to be negligible when doing this type of cutting. The wider the mower, the more power will be required to turn it. The 36 in. mower will have more torque and better performance than a wider version. I would rather have the extra torque on a machine this size.

Get rid of the music so we can hear the sound of how it’s cutting and an appropriate size machine for a good demonstration.

What's the cost for the sidewinder ?

That machine makes a strange sound though... Like cheesy 60's organ music. That's a deal breaker for me.

Seeing is believing! YOU on the other hand subject your potential buyer to over 7 minutes of NON-STOP YAK That's inexcusable and poor salesmanship.
