@Jason Jerome I guess that the game's manual, it was incredibly detailed.

We use to play this game all nite !!! We had the king 🪑, whoever wins sits in it , and the losers would have to sit on the floor. Same for mortal kombat 1,2 and 3 trilogy

The soundtrack is so good. Its like I'm 27 years younger and playing this again.

Slash and Xavier were my go to’s ❤️😔

And that's why Xavier is the best. He gets time travel for his future for a living. He saved civilization on countless events and made it acceptable when it comes to science and magic. My boy Xavier is the best!

If you play the CD version the endings for Raven and the hidden character, Thanatos, also have tie ins with Xaviers ending. It was one of the best 2d fighting games of that era imo. It was better than Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat in a lot of ways. I wish someone would come along and do more with this series. It wouldn’t even have to be a fighter. Just continue to expand on the lore and story.

Totally forgot about this gem. I used to love this game and play the hell out of it back in the day.

3:45 Look at the reflection on the statue of the flickering flames. The graphics in this game were incredible.

If they made a remake for this game Xavier would be superbanned in most tournaments, one of his attacks turned his opponent into another fighter and another messed his controls. They were useless against the CPU but in VS matches they were a nightmare, specially because you couldn't guess which one was used when he was throwing the magic ball.

Nostalgia for me. I can remember sitting in our living room playing into the early am eating Doritos and sipping on sodas. Thanks for the upload 🤘🏽🤘🏽

In my case, he was the third one, the second one was Blade, and my first fav is of course Shadow

Eternal Champion says "FIGHT" and then proceeds to immediately blow you away with the Eagle air push lol. Love this game.

The animations just have so much personality

I love how all of the jump attacks are early to preempt the input reading

haven't even got a chance to hear about this game much less play it but this xavier fighter is my favorite i wonder why 😄😊

I played the hell out of this game. Trident was my main man, but could do some good damage with Blade, too. Only made it to the Eternal champion once, and lost. Got the bad ending, and just felt so defeated. Haven't played it in years.

Thanks for uploading this. Im still trying to master some of the tricky match ups. Shadow is so hard.

Neatherealm Studios should remake this like MK, that shit would be LIT!!!!

Xavier was my best character to play as. I always made it to the Eternal Champion, but pnly occasionally beat him.

This one was way harder than the Sega CD version imo. I think i only beat this one with Trident before getting the sega cd one. I was able to beat Challenge from the Dark Side with every character, including the animals. Felt like the AI in the second game was just wayyy more predictable

My cousin played against me as a kid. He had all of the cheat codes so he would knock me into the fan and I couldn’t figure out how he did it…
