@@rasecsenun6634 Yes, but 'The Last King of Pictdom' is based on the novel 'Legion from the Shadows', a pastiche of Howard by Wagner.

It is based on Bran Mak Morn. Jason Tarpey is a huge fan of Robert E Howard (and also Michael Moorcock if that wasn’t obvious from the band name)

@@hkleider Or rather to put it more accurately, they were conquered by and assimilated into the Scots, remember, the Scots originated as invaders from northern Ireland, the Picts were a completely separate branch of the Celtic culture-group from the Gaels (Scots and Irish), The Picts were far closer to the old British Celts as well as the Welsh and Bretons.
