I love this so much. Not just because of the mint, but the rose lurking just underneath. I'm hard pressed to find another from this house that is as good as this one.

Yes! I bought this recently, been trying to tell people about it. This is an absolute gem. Also, since I am also an author, the existence of this fragrance gives me hope that one day I can design a fragrance around my books. Don't judge me, it could happen!

Absolutely one of my favorite summer fragrances. I get a noticeable, subtle rose in the mid that I really like. But, as you say, the star of the show is the mint.

Thanks, man! I'm psyched you like it! What's interesting is that it's not a citrus scent -- Caroline Sabas, my perfumer, and I wanted a sharp cool, and it reads citrus, but it's not. It's Los Angeles, but it's awesome you took it along on vacation.

If you like this for the mint but aren't sold on the florals underneath, I highly recommend Fumabat by Couteau de Poche. Minty, evergreeny. Sweet but not loud.

I've never been into layering but just mixed this with Duro and it was kinda fire.

For me, the most perfect mint fragrance has always been Selection Verte. But seeing as I'm never gonna pay a grand for a flacon and Creed may never bring it back into production, my go-to summer mints are ELDO you or someone like you and Guerlain Herba Fresca, which to me are in a similar category of summer fresh realistic mint fragrances.

How would you compare You or Someone like You against Herba Fresca? I've heard a lot they're similar, but what would you say are the differences between them?

its a 100 ml so spray it all over alll day xD i just ordered it now and hope it really helps in this very hot and humid weather

Does anyone find that this fra smells similar to Xerjoff Torino21?

Issey miyake sport mint is really a great mint fragance last long but it is discontinued and pricier.

Just a general question but in your opinion is it better to get: 1. Lots of cheapies 2. A fair number of designers at around the $100 range 3. A few pricier designers and niche fragrances above $150

Only get what you like and be selective. Designer and cheapies will wear on you if you buy indiscriminately and if you are not an oversprayer you’ll end up with more bottles than you can use, most of them redundant. Buy samples before buying colognes, especially the expensive ones or niche. It’s better to waste 10us than 150 or 200. The less you buy, the more especial your own fragrances are.

I got 5 decants of this house and this was the only one I really enjoyed. The rest were off putting.

How does this compare to Eau de Minthe by Diptyque?

I love your videos, man. but every time you say: “waste a spray for you guys” I cringe. Sounds really, let say, weird. maybe say “let’s smell it” or anything else dude. Again, don’t mean to be critical. I think you do an amazing job. Except for that one specific thing.

It's funny. I generally agree with you on smells. However, I can't stand the way this smells. I think it's awful. And I'm a big fan of mint. However this is a white flower musk bomb to my nose.

I just can't agree with the people who say this smells like natural, authentic mint leaf. I was on a hunt for a fragrance like that, and this was nowhere near it. It just smells weird to me. I found the mint to be pretty poor, and I didn't like the fragrance much in general.

By the way, if you want the best mint leaf note then I'd recommend Xerjoff Torino21. The mint note in that is spot on, nothing comes close. And if you want something that's very mint forward and doesn't share that forefront with other notes then James Heeley Menthe Fraiche is probably about as close as I've found. And if you want mojito then it's Guerlain Homme.

Mint smells great in the open and then I just get whiffs of grandma perfume. I just can't hang with the rose. Remarkable People is better IMHO.

To me it smells like the dentist. Not keen on it at all.

Love mint but can’t stand this fragrance. Smells like green salad with vinaigrette to my nose.
