I feel like that scene had such great potential and was ruined. It could've gone down like this: A guy was revealed to be Charlotte's killer, and said that he is coming for Ali next. As they are in th classroom, Ali opens the blackboard to a secret passageway while the man (Cece's killer) is chasing after them. As he begins to get closer and closer, as he pulls the trigger to shoot Ali, A.D shoots him, and escapes.

And they also asked her if she had a talk with AD letting them know and she said yes, that they did very early on because it would effect their performances. Which I think means that they let Torrey ( Melissa) know so she could talk with the producers on her show and they gave her approval to shoot the finale.

If you watched the interview, Marlene said that AD didn't want anybody to know and obviously Torrey wasn't going to say "oh yeah , Marlene talked to me and I'm coming back for the finale" that would make it too obvious

Almost all big stories have plot holes. It was a dream scene and nothing else, it makes complete sense, Emily cares for Alison and she still worries about the whole Archer situation. Maybe they didn't know what to do with that scene, it's irrelevant, treat it that way and stop making a huge deal out of it.

Marlene is such a hot mess with all the loose ends. I just lost all the hope for the finale. She put in the scene she didnt even plan, she probably didnt even plan the cece's horrible reveal with all the plot holes. She doesnt even remember big murders in her own show she fucking wrote. And ofcourse the melissa's suitcase storyline is irrelevant and the fact that someone almost ran over emily to get it. She probably forgot about that too.

reece read i am just hoping she ties all the ends from season 6 and 7. It would be amazing if with this reveal she could explain some of the plot holes from 6a finale tragedy, but i highly doubt it. And explain eddie lamb, wren coloring that was never mentioned again, melissa's involvment, we know she went to the campbell's farm, does she know charlotte from then, and melissa's face spencer found at that creepy mask shop, and what is the deal with bethany and why was shower harvey both black widow and red coat.

Also if you remember way back when at the lodge fire Toby got hit by someone at the back of his head. And he also saw someone. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty certain that was never answered?! And supposedly from what Marlene is saying AD story is only from season 6 onwards. Meaning any questions we have passed seasons won't get answered probably ..

Y'all Sasha is so gorgeous 😍I can't wait for the shocking Emison scenes in the finale and of course the spinoff! 🤞🏻Based on this interview, I am more convinced that Spencer (or her twin) is AD rather than Melissa since the actor/actress that played AD obviously film a lot of episodes for him/her to say he/she doesnt want the cast to know that he/she is AD so the dynamics/acting will not be affected. And Melissa just filmed one episode sooo 👀

Honestly I feel like the cast really deep inside feel disappointed with who AD is but obviously cant say that.. that's a diss to the show and writer and director etc. I have this feeling like AD is going to be .. like someone really boring. I feel like the perfect ending for the finale would be after the liars find out who A.D. is and they figure out what to do with their lives, Addison alone or Addison with her "group" go to the funeral of the person who dies in the finale and then they get an "A" like text and then the scene from the first PLL episode ever is recreated with the song that played (Rachel Diggs: Hands of Time).

I think this interview was good in terms of process of Elimination. If everything that said was accurate. Then we know we is def out of the running as A.D. 1. It's not Melissa. They tried to get her back for the season finale. They accomplished that. If she didn't come back - the show would've had to go on. 2. It's not Mona. 3. It's not Aria. 4. It's not Allison. She was one of the first people to find out. She had to piece it together. 5. It's not Toby. Marlene didn't want to make him A.D. Wasn't it establish there is an A.D. That person has helpers. They said Spencer knew before Ally, otherwise the rest of the girls found out around the same time. I could be wrong, but I really think A. D comes down to Spencer, Wren, Paige, Caleb and Ezra.

Because there are photos of Ezra with a bullet hole to his head from behind the scenes, and Aria says "I can't bury Ezra", and also the title of the last episode gives it away.

I waited 1 fucking year for the "he's coming for you" scene, and it was a fucking DREAM?? Really marlene, realllllyyyy

Marlene said that the 5 year time lapse was in at the end of 5a and she was wrong it was at the end of 6a just before they came back

Marlene doesn't even know answers to her own show. This is so disappointing because we waited so many years and the writers never had a solid story plot and they just did it to get viewers. I wasted so many years of my life for this show and they're probably not gonna give us any good answers to plot holes that's why they have a q+a special after the last episode is over
