This feels like how Master Quest SHOULD have been. Not just bosses with inflated health for the sake of making it "harder", but giving them patterns that feel like an extreme step up, yet are still consistently dodgeable. By the way, have you thought of putting some of the unreleased attacks? I know somebody implemented some of Rumor Honeybottoms' and the Devil's unused attacks, and those would feel right at home here.

This is what the DLC master quest for Ester should 100% be. The way it’s buffed is very nice. Increased attacks and madness, and call me a madman, but for Cuphead bosses, I love that. Nicely done again!

The final phase is oddly satisfying

Legend has it that when you beat this boss with all the requirements you get s+ rank

This boss was a lot of fun to play, I beat it in January but then accidentally deleted the mod and had trouble downloading it again for a while, a few weeks ago I got it to work and now I am trying to S rank this boss with the mod equipped(I consistently can get to the last phase with full health but then my whole run gets screwed up after that D: ) I personally found this to be the second easiest dlc boss on this mod after moonshine mob, I got to the third phase of mortimer freeze but that bucket attack keeps destroying me there so I left that off for the time being.

Ahh good ol’ Ester Winchester, I always felt that the creativity that was SUPPOSED to go to the attacks instead went to the visuals. Make sense that this fight had some fairly generic changes outside of the final phase, which was also the most inventive part of the vanilla fight.

I hope your proud of making Chilli spit 4x more intense on top of the sausage pincer move. Just kidding i know you found a way to not make it near impossible And like always Estner like other bosses immediately go to the point with no chill being fast.

Fuckin same. I had a rage induced internal crisis trying to beat this on regular the first time, let alone expert.

And I'm here thinking ester on expert is hell

Buff is an understatement more like Esther but empowered by the devil

I've been waiting for someone to buff Ester Winshester!!! This is cuphead if it ever had a new "Devilish" difficulty.
