@@mikechhakchhuak5005 I differ from you on the point that assam regiment has nothing to do with assam. Assam regiment has around 80% soldiers from northeast. Remaining 20% are officers and administrative staff which can be from any part of India. Same applies to any other regiment of Indian Army.
