Yes, Julie said several times ok for personal, but too high for resale. Think how you would feel if it was your stuff. You wouldn't want whoever is running the sale to just give your stuff away at bins prices and in most cases your family wouldn't either.

Estate sale or not those prices were too high! Retail prices are not what you expect at an estate sale.

I think we all need to realize there's a big difference between Estate Sales and Garage Sales. For me it's the difference between quality, high-end, super clean versus mid to low quality, not a lot of expensive (when new) items and sometimes, really worn out or dirty items. I thought the prices were fine for first day-because in my area of north Louisiana, the last day is 50% off. I LOvED the lion bookends visible close to the end of the video. They were beautiful. The crocheted blanket was beautiful too-and it was only $20--could sell for $60 or maybe more depending on condition. Go back Julie and last day and get some deals!

I never go on the first day! Best to go at 50% off.

Those were retail prices! They are following Goodwill, it's getting ridiculous. The prices at Goodwill here in Texas has gotten so high I don't even bother, I have gone to high bid online local auctions for my ebay merchandise.

I think the kids wooden puzzles are vintage and hard to find. I probably would've made an offer on 10 or so.

So sorry it didn't work out! The prople who were there before, possible got took or just walked away too! That's so disappointing!

I have a friend who used to do estate sales but moved. Guess you know that many friends of the person doing the sale get to go in first. Sad. And if my friend saw a lot of valuables then everything was high priced!!😢

Mmmm.. their prices were way to high for used things! There were some really pretty things tho. I've seen some of these same things at the antique stores not priced this high! I realize its an estate sale, but its still used things! Maybe better prices on day 2 & 3!

Estate sales are often overpriced especially when they a company run it. I like garage and yard sales. They often have good buys although every so often I will run across someones yard sale that wants what they paid for it new after its been well used. I just walk away from those ones.

I found a basket exactly like the small one in Goodwill! I paid three dollars for it! I knew what it was INSTANTLY!!!

That depends on the quality of the stuff and where you live. Some people just want to get rid of everything and aren't concerned about how much they make, and others may have debts to pay and want as much as people are willing to pay. Some estate sales don't even have a discount day.
