Worked great once I found a multi hoop on the menu that would allow a design to be split. The first few multi hoops on the menu I tried would not allow the design to split and kept saving the file as the entire design. If you run into this issue just choose a different multi hoop :)

I spent the whole day yesterday scouring all the info out there on Multi hooping when all I had to do was to watch this one. Not to say that the info out there is lacking, but just to say that this video dealt specifically with my problem. Thank you so much for taking the time to help us!

I have a Bernette Chicago 7 with hoop size of 110mm x 170mm (not quite the more common 5x7, odd i know). I created a new multi hoop size with those stitch areas programmed in. What I want to know is why does that gap/ margin show up in the middle of the design. I haven't tried stitching out my split design yet but when I go to print the templates, I am missing exactly that middle part of my design shown between the two hoops! Is this normal or should I be seeing both halves of the design on my print out fully and completely before stitching out? How do I bring the 2 halves of my hoops together and eliminate the gap and therefor my missing middle of my design?

My saves are fails. It wants to save a file top and bottom instead of left side right side.

I just got embrilliance essen. In the moment i saved the repositonal hoop (100x170 approx) design, its saved as divided design in 3 parts, ok thats fine, but then when i go to the machine the preview shows this horrible square in the middel of the hoop whit my design inside.

Can we use more than 2 hoops for one design? Is there any limitations?

Would love to know the answer to this too.

This has been the most frustrating feature. The designs that are split do not meet in the middle. There is a large gap in between and no matter what I do, it will not fix the problem. Am I amble to choose where the design splits? Maybe that would help me. But they DO NOT overlap even a little bit. Please help

Usually this is caused by not enough stabilizer or wrong stabilizer or shifting in the hoop of some sort. The design is split precisely in the software - but things may not be so precise at the machine. Be sure you are stitching the basting boxes and alignment lines. If the line of the second hoop does not line up with the line from the first hoop, you know it is going to be off. Stop, reload the second design and use your machine adjustors to move the second design a bit closer. Restitch the alignment line until the needles go into the exact same holes.

I have followed these instructions to the letter and it is NOT working for me! I do not get 2 files nor do I get the text file. It does save as Split Design... but I just get one file with the entire design. COMPLETELY FRUSTRATED!

Hi! Did you get this figured out? I get a dotted line around my design when my machine starts

I have a Chinese 15 needle machine that takes the same Brother PR hoops. But it won’t work the same. ( no snowman ). Would it work? Thank you.

I have tried over and over and over to save my design in the split hoop window on Embrilliance. I save it on a thumb drive and when I put it in my Brother Entrepreneur 1500x it's ONE design! Please tell me what I am doing wrong!

If you mean a 10 needle - that’s correct. The machine can read the design with the jumbo hoop and tells you when to add the snowman and flip the hoop!

This does not work with the Jumbo hoop.

The jumbo hoop for the 10 needle saves as a single file with snowman support. The machine tells you when to rotate and add the snowman.
