I made my bike stand from a woodshed style bar clamp. Line the Jaws with wood and carpet. The rest is made from a few short lengths of black gas pipe that will fit the same size of bar clamp.

It is not necessary to have all Park Tool, in my workshop I have brands such: Unior , Pedro's-, SuperB and IceToolz.

With modern bikes, I see no reason to have those good looking wrenches. Can someone help me?

For the odd random bolt a pair of the Knipex plier-wrench is all you need these days. Also great for straightening rotors. I even carry the 125mm (5 inch) version as a trail tool for straightening rotors and dinged rims. Edit: Its also worth having a 7mm and an 8mm flared wrench for working on brakes.
