I use my smartphone to learn English with you on KZread, receiver is the device which we use to watch other countries TV channels without paying for it & i sometimes scroll through instant and Facebook pages & after your explanation about the word savvy, I'd like to say yes i am sometimes savvy and maybe i am not and our smartphone or laptop technology are modern or savvy... here in Brazil, notebook is a laptop which was kinda challenging in the beginning not to mix them both, anyway english is weird but I have to accept as it is lol 🤣

yeah,in my country,China,most of people know notebook.If you call it laptop,no one get you.On computer boxes there are always Chinese name and “notebook” printed.
