Looking through the lot, I definitely prefer this style to some of your older ones. The text as a part of the scene gives it a nice edge. And the single picture, instead of three overlapping ones, makes it nicer to look at.

I feel as though the three overlapping image style could work better for equipment showcases rather than gameplay or QoL. Sort of like a display window at a clothing store where there is good chance at least one item will draw the interest of people scrolling through.

I think what you’re doing works well. Mostly you’ve got a single character in thumbnail when it’s about the dragonborn. Then multiple people when it’s about a group, or the wider world. Doing gangbusters man, I wouldn’t change a thing if I were you.

The latest thumbnail, with 'Skyrim Mods' in the lower left corner, is really good. People generally like to click on faces, so having thumbnails with the character facing the screen rather than looking away will probably do better.

One quick note about Immersive Equipment Displays. During my gameplay with it I've noticed quite a lot of script lag coming along with it, especially on a heavily modded walkthrough. The framework tracks every NPCs equipment in the game and loads it upon the players arrival. Depending on your mod list, this mod can make the game unplayable in the long term so in return i suggest highly people use Visible Favoured Gear as an alternative. I've been using it ever since LE and it utilizes the same framework with the exception that it works only for the player.

I've known about these mods for a while, but this finally convinced me to use a lot of them. Redshift always shows off the best mods too. I'd heard of the lock variation mod before, but the addons are new to me, and make things so much cooler, and of course more *immersive*.

Awesome video! btw this 4:40 horse running animation looks so smooth for Skyrim standards, it doesn't even look like Skyrim, it's so clean.

Been watching a lot of mod videos, I appreciate you bringing some gems I haven't seen before.

I just recently switched from LE to SE. Security Overhaul is amazing! I can't start a new playthrough without it. Samuelga's mods are very interesting, and I will surely check those out. Awesome vid. Keep up the work!

For those who play with a controller, there's a mod like read-or-take that works on whether you have your weapon out or not.

Well, even though I've been modding Skyrim for a few years now, you have introduced me to quite a few mods that I either didn't know about or have just plain overlooked. Also, your explanations of how to use the mods are very clear. I have been using Immersive Equipment Display for some time now, and didn't pick up on the different ways to change what is displayed until watching your explanation. Your video work is excellent, and you are gifted with an ability to give very clear explanations of these mods. Also, you don't rush your voice, but use a very good pacing for speaking. And last, this one may sound odd, but I like the way your game looks in your videos. No weird and unnatural looking characters, good lighting, and natural looking graphics. Thank you for the work you put into these videos. And I hope you will continue to enjoy doing them for some time, so that I can continue to enjoy watching them!

Sounds cool with the books. I was using Jaxon's positioner to take the books which isnt for everyone since the temptation to cheat for some people could ge too high since can hit one of the numberpas buttons to dupe an item and I think you can bypass stealing. I am not tempted and love the mod.

Is there possibly a mod that shows what mod the item is from, I constantly struggle with knowing what is from different mods I download, for example, spells the spells are the hardest thing to find. When you look for a specific spell from a specific mod, you just can't figure it out.

That Falmer camp lock model got me acting unwise

Loved this video, so sick of the “must have Skyrim mods” that basically change the entire game into something else

Personally I’m always in first person, so aside from the occasional “how cool do I look in my steel armor” or the “how lame do I look in my anything other than iron steel or ebony” I don’t care if my model is unloaded. Oh but for the npcs around me… yeah I dig it.

for immersive equipment display, the quiver thing doesnt change anything, it stays in the normal spot

I recently had a mod that changed the merchants making them buy and sell only specialty items. So potion shops only bought and sold potions and ingredients etc. I ended up removing it when I reinstalled nexus and cant find it, idk if it was removed or what but I miss it because even though its small it really bugs me to be able to loot dump on any vendor again. Any help?

@@redshift1 -- Correct. In Vanilla you have to take a certain perk found in the Speechcraft tree in order to be able to sell any (non-stolen) item to any vendor. If you never take that perk, shops will only deal in the items they actually deal in. No mod required.

For some of these mod, i find out that you need other " mod recquirement ", and sometimes it just keep going on and on. like you want this mod ? dwl this one first. and for this one you just dwl ? you need those two first ect.. do you guys just dwl every single one of these mod recquirement ? like 1 by 1 ? yes - you need every single requirement!

Quality of life mods are rare on the playstation version of Skyrim. And if they do work they are no where near what the original mod is. For example the lantern mod. On the PC and Xbox version the lantern can be seen at the waist of the player and you can also see the light source from the lantern when you are using it. But when you are playing the playstation version. Sony is so lame that you can't use custom scripts and that means you can't even see the lantern and the area around you lights up like you're holding a torch. Not very immersive. I'm REALLY hoping this new update they are working on which can allow modders to charge some money for their mods will alter the landscape of kind of mods you can use on the playstation. I wouldn't be surprised though that it doesn't change anything. But if Sony continues to be an a-hole about this I will go back to Xbox for the next gen.
