I moved from Evernote to Apple Notes last year. The two features it had that I’ve wanted and written to Apple’s Notes team asking for were highlighting text different colors and a true web clipper. One down, one to go!

Great vid! So with the offline iCloud files, it looks like you can also set entire folders to be saved offline. In that case, will the iPad update files in the background automatically when you have WiFi access or do you have to manually go in and force it to download?

That iCloud feature to keep a file offline is great - I use that with other cloud providers already so great to have it for iPad too. Does that work with entire folders I wonder?

9:14 yo! I LOVE that mini-nba backboard!!! Where did you score that??!! I had one of those as a kid (I’m a lot older than you, and it takes me back!!) That thing taught me how to take the ball to the hole as a small kid & I did all the way thru college, even though I was only 6’1/2”. If I couldn’t shoot outside, I was going to the rim! I love it! Thx for that very cool shot, man! Not only are you from Louisiana, you have that goal up! 2++!

When will Apple port Journal to iPad (& hopefully Mac) platform? I would love the larger writing format!

Hey Fernando, do you know if IpadOS 18 introduces universal control between iPads only? (No Mac). I’m currently able to control my iPad mini with my 11” M4’s Magic Keyboard. Only works towards the top, and you can’t drag files or photos. Totally turned off all my computers in the vicinity to make sure as well. As I type this it stopped working, but was able to record a video. I guess we’ll find out soon.

Does notes app still gets hot and little laggy while making notes after couple of minutes or after writing couple of lines with apple pencil?

Anybody think we should get more space for control centre on iPad? My other question is, on external displays does the control centre now appear on the external display? Since iPadOS 16 it just opens on the iPad even if you click it on the external

Imo, the Nav Bar should be at the bottom so you can navigate and see the screen at the same time.

🐬I will install the betas around Dev Beta 3 or Public Beta 1. There are some nice enhancements and all of the above should work on my 10th Gen iPad (i hope). 🐬

9To5Mac and iPadOS 19 in 2025 is a laptop version that I can get from Apple Store for Apple Inc. or Google LLC or Microsoft ?

How long until you learn that if it’s announced for iPad, it’s announced for iPhone, and if it’s announced for iPhone, it’s announced for iPad, and if it’s announced for either of those is also announced for Mac. Unless they explicitly say that it’s coming to a platform only such as the journal app being iPhone only at the moment, you should safely assume it’s going to all platforms.

A) your Home Screen layout is your Home Screen layout If you like your Home Screen laid out the way it is that's your choice 2) iPadOS 18 overall is nice though I honestly think we NEED the ability to RENAME photos in the Photos app in iPadOS iOS macOS because people DO have reasons to RENAME their photos regardless of operating system

I feel ipad should've came with m3 chips a lot earlier before and later releasing MacBook air with the new m4 chips where we could actually make use of it capabilies a lot more especially when it comes to ai .Now we're stuck with m4 in iPad with limited capabilities having a long wait before we get m4 macs . Apple is playing with our psyche lately though !!!

@@mythicalism1468 because it has oled and it was very expensive. It should have one. I don’t need it, I want it. A device this ‘pro’ with an oled display should have one. Just like my iPhone and my Apple Watch

Please use dark mode next time. Many people that are Visually impaired don’t see good on light screens

You already talk about all this stuff in your last video.

These new features are hardly essential. They’re mostly just carryover from iOS 18 which we would expect. Where are the missing features that folks have been talking about for years such as better monitor support, more robust Files App, concurrent media playback, etc. This is a really bad set of enhancements for a major release.

Doesn’t Fernando look at this thumbnail en thinks: ‘why am I degrading myself to this ridiculous trend’?

The notes app absolutely nukes the battery on the iPad Pro. 20 minutes of note taking in the native note app gets the iPad Pro hot and battery drains so fast

iOS 18 has been released in Apple Inc for iPhablet Which will now include an app! This iOS 19 in 2025 is next year! I hope to get the update on iPhones as iPads will iPod Touches
