I don't understand something. My clarinet is also a Bp clarinet. But with the one you say, and the book says, as open G, my clarinet (and your's as weel) gives F4 according to my tuner. Can sombody give me a hint about what's happening here? By the way I'm new to music .

Clarinet is a transposing instrument, in the key of Bb in this case. So any note you play on it is actually sounding a full step lower than concert pitch (which is C). In other words if you okay a C on Bb clarinet the note that is actually sounding is a Bb, a G played on the Bb clarinet produces an F, etc. Hope that helps.

As a first time self learner, this is really helpful, especially since this is mainly how i was taught how to play the flute, and it helps while I'm now learning how to play the clarinet. Thank you!

Airstream is a big camping trailer. It's a song about an Airstream camper. There was another one you didn't seem to know either. But I can't tremendously which one it was. BTW. I love this. As a teacher, and a student refreshing my skills on the clarinet (I'm a sax player who hasn't played clarinet in 30 years....yes,I taught kids how to play without playing much. ) This is so helpful.

Thanks for your feedback. I could not in good conscience publish the entire book here for this video. You will need to own the book to follow along. I do have time stamps for every number and state the titles as I go through.
