We are here with a Brand New Misadventure. In today's Misadventure, we are the Essence Festival of Culture 2024 in New Orleans, La.
This festival is one that is focused on the African-American woman but is one that everyone of all walks of life can enjoy. This Festival Takes Place over Fourth of July Weekend. This festival is one that has 2 major events, the first one is the Nighttime concert series, featuring some of the biggest names in music from yesteryear and of today! The Other Part of this Festival is the Free, Music, Food, Wellness, and Entertainment section of the festival that emanates the New Orleans Convention Center.
In today's video, we focus on the Convention Center, free experience. This was so much fun for us. We met with great vendors, selling awesome products. We Brought home swag from Coke, McDonalds, and other Brands.
On top of all of that, our star of the show was Going to the Disney Booth, Seeing all of the photo ops and the games that were being played at their booth. ON TOP OF EVERYTHING ELSE, WE WERE ABLE TO MEET MICKEY and MINNIE along with DISNEY’S PRINCESS TIANA!
Also we were able to enjoy the Tiana's Bayou Adventure panel which included a second line and The beautiful Anika Noni Rose “ The voice of Tiana” from the movie The Princess and the Frog.
Also Jennifer Lewis who plays Mama Odie in The Princess and the Frog was there too.
Also Charita Carter was there, The First African-American Woman Executive Producer Of Walt Disney Imagineering.
CARMEN SMITH was also attending who is the
Senior Vice President and Executive Creative Development Product/Content & Inclusive Strategies for Disney Parks, Experiences and Products.
Over all, this was a WONDERFULY AMAZING experience and we cannot wait to it again!
