Essen Motor Show opens at Messe Essen from 30th November to 8th December
This is all about automotive enthusiasm: From November 30 to December 8 (Preview Day: November 29), the Essen Motor Show, the PS festival for all car fans, opens in Essen. More than 500 exhibitors and over 300,000 expected. Visitors make for great emotions on the entire exhibition grounds. As Europe's leading event for sporty vehicles, the offer of the Essen Motor Show includes sports cars, tuning & lifestyle, motorsports and classic cars. Entertainment is also provided by the Motorsport Arena and exciting special shows. New this year: an own exhibition with well-known cars from the history of racing.
Fans of sporty production vehicles can not miss the Essen Motor Show. Well-known manufacturers and suppliers will present themselves in Hall 3: In addition to the ADAC as the conceptual sponsor of the PS Festival, the audience can expect the Mercedes Fan World, as well as performances by KW, the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany, Skoda, Volkswagen and ZF. Premiere celebrates the cross-production special show 'Power of Motorsport' with 16 vehicles, one of whose highlights is a Ford GT40. Crazy Cars and design cars in the immediate vicinity, including a James Bond-look car and an electric study inspired by Leonardo da Vinci, also move between artistically valuable and forward-looking.
Tuning conquers the clubs and cities
Tuning enthusiasts from all over Europe travel to Essen to experience new trends. Therefore, the Essen Motor Show dedicates five halls to the theme of tuning & lifestyle. The range of exhibitors ranges from rims and tires to chassis and car hi-fi to care products and accessories. If you want to toying with a refurbished new car or have your car modified by a professional, stop by one of the many tuners in Halls 5, 6, 7 and 8. Many exhibitors supply the right clothes at the same time: shirts, hoodies and caps transport the tuning lifestyle to the clubs and onto the street.
With the initiative TUNE IT! SAFE! and the Association of Automobile Tuners, the Essen Motor Show in Hall 7 has two partners at its side who stand up for safe and serious tuning. According to the association, the trend is mainly for products that improve the visual appearance, such as light-alloy wheels, suspension components and LED headlights. Many owners opt for a vehicle that is already extensively equipped at the factory, in order to then customize it. The result can be admired by the visitors of the Essen Motor Show in the tuningXperience in hall 1A and 3. The special show
includes around 160 of the most beautiful private-powered scene vehicles - from the Daily Driver to motorsport cars to moderately tuned classics.
Customer Sports and Track Days are the trends in motorsport
Motorsport has its home in Halls 4 and 5. Here are, among others, the German Sportfahrer circuit and Hockenheimring, Mustang Owners Club, Nürburgring and VLN. In the Motorsport Arena in Hall 4, exhibitors will showcase their skills to new vehicles and racing athletes. If you want to accelerate yourself, you can make the right contacts in Essen. Many sports car manufacturers lure their buyers with their own racing cars, in which hobby riders can compete in one-make cups. Cheaper are the track days of providers such as the German sports driver circuit: These driving lessons can car owners
with their vehicle on a racetrack and there improve their skills.
Sports cars have inspired their fans since the early 20th century. And take their drivers and viewers into a time long forgotten. Over 250 classic cars are for sale in Halls 1 and 2 and exude the fragrance of the past. Tickets for the Essen Motor Show are available for a reduced price online at www.essen-motorshow.de. A day ticket costs 15 euros. The PS Festival opens on Preview Day (29th November) and on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am to 6pm, during the week from 10am to 6pm.
