This is Essen, the shopping city of Germany, in February 2022. The illuminated advertising welcomes you at the beginning of the Kettwiger Straße where I am walking around. Curious what will be built at 2:20! Love the clean and neat train station! All in all a very livable city with a lot of possibilities of amusement and enjoyment, especially when it comes to shopping!

I got the impression that you want to show us the ugliness of Germany with your videos. You always show the ugliest cities and also in these cities mostly the shopping and train station areas. Or what reasons do you have to make 20 + videos of Düsseldorf, Cologne, Dortmund and co.?

There are some people out there who prefer Düsseldorf, Cologne, Dortmund & co. to Berlin, Rothenburg, Munich & co. I am one of them! It’s not that I’m not willing to film those cities sometimes, which I did quite a few times in the past, but I just don’t enjoy them as much. And I love train stations + shopping areas.
