The difference in fretboard darkness is so much from video to video. I love it when it's almost black, but any lighter and it instantly kills the looks of this guitar...

I was exactly in the same spot with you. As a lefty like yourself, I decided to buy this one instead of a R type. I am a 30-year-old metal fan, also listen to fusion jazz like Snarky Puppy kind, go figure! So I needed a versatile one, instead of a pure metal guitar. Went for Boss Katana Mk II combo amp and Boss MT-2 Waza pedal to make sure that I get killer death metal tones when needed. Made the payment yesterday, waiting for the delivery, impatiently. I will answer your questions once my rig arrives if you still have any.

I have had one for about a year now (a red one) and I'm really pleased with it. It's really nice to play ... but the sound of pick-ups is not very good if you ask me, so I had a couple of ibanez split pickups with a 5 switch I put in. So now it' also sounds great and it's become my number 1 Goto guitar now.

  • @D20band

How much do these guitars weigh? Is it easy to access all the way up to the 24th fret? I currently use a Squier John 5 tele (which i love), but would love to get a tele with 24 frets and passive pickups. This looked like it would fit the bill. Seems like this could be pretty versatile too since i play a variety of styles.
