LTD DELUXE MH-1000 BARITONE SPECS & INFO: www.espguitars.com/products/2...
We feel like a fly on the wall in the studio of Bobby Lynge, guitarist for Texas-based metalcore band Fit for a King, as he tries out different tones using the LTD Deluxe MH-1000 Baritone. This guitar offers a 27" baritone scale, allowing for extended range tunings without departing from the familiarity of the 6-string format. It also features neck-thru-body construction, a compound neck radius, 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets, LTD locking tuners, a TonePros locking TOM bridge with string-thru-body, and direct-mount EMG 81 and EMG 60TW-R pickup with coil splitting and brushed black chrome covers.

I’ve been loving my LTD EC-401 for years, now I think that I can dig that MH1000 baritone for loud sounds 😛🎸

I’ve been on the fence on the MH-1000B. I think I’m pretty sold on it now.

@@ahaua1 I'm 6 songs into my new bands album and I'm loving it so much. I ended up finding one of reverb for $750 and bought it immediately. The action was stupid low to where the strings would bare ring out. After raising the action it was perfect.

I'm sure that it's a nice guitar, however the top carve has nowhere near the sort of definition and contouring that the higher end models have. To me this is a deal breaker. I used to own a one-off MIJ 1987 transitional prototype between the Mirage and the Horizon, which is more or less where the MH sits. That one was stolen from me, and became my white whale, even to the point of having seen it resurface on an auction site but unable to chase details of buyer/seller. The top on that and the higher-end ESP/M-II models are cleanly defined and less "sanded to oblivion" like LTDs seem to be. I would own it, but still feel like there was some way to go. Satin finishes are hell as well!
