Love that you made this video right as I decided to try to get into PvP as a templar 👀 Being annoying sounds like a ton of fun, I'll give this a go when I'm fully levelled

Finally I found how to use my templar, thank you! Wanted to try annoying tank/heal in pvp. Can probably take this as tank into vet dungeons if needed.

Great build! In the vid you have 50 in health and 14 in stamina, but on the website 64 in health. Which is better? Also, I am high elf. Currently made 7-50-7 stats.

I think I'll put this on my PvP healer. Will give my opponents a shock when they try to kill my healer and are met by this

i deleted my templar tank a while ago to level a new toon. May just have to level another templar to give this a go xD

Tried the build this evening. Followed it precisely and not good results in battlegrounds. Getting melted in all but 1v1. Yes, i kept the dark shield up. Really annoying to be melted before i can stun break. What kinds of builds can melt tanks as easily as they melt farm animals?

They stack penetration through the roof, followed by other things like the cp that does oblivion dmg? I think it does, tanks get tankier so dps get more pen

If you're taking it in BG you are missing all of your resistance cps, and healing is cut in half and alot of them are using defile, breach, poisons and other nasty things

I have tried it! You _can_ forego Oakensoul in favor of Zoal's monster set, if you want to troll even harder. But you then need to also keep Rune Focus down (either morph), aat. Of course this also affords you the opportunity to back-bar a Frost Staff, to off-load some block-cost onto your magicka pool, or a Master's Resto Staff, for huge recovery and group contributions. On a grim note... Is it not sad that this is what Templar is reduced to, in the current PvP environment? Well, if we're to be fodder for NB & Sorc, we may as well make them work for it! xD

i use a version of this cyrodial and it actually helps you will want to step on rams, ballistas, walking in front of squishy people ruining ganks on you’re brawlers

We need more of this. Experienced pvp players sharing thier knowledge of pvp. So many have 0 clue how pvp works, not many guides on it either😊

undeath passive will give you loads of added tankiness at low hp which is really nice

I actually made a similar build last night and to my surprise I was actually killing people and 1vxing which I've never been able to do comfortably lol . 45k hp and 5k SD with 8k pen lol using tank sets no doubt.. My sustain is a lot lower than yours, but rune and food I was sitting comfortably in the 2k fully buffed range. I went Destruction staff sharpened and lover mundus with all SD glyphs. Bar setup is ele sus (main no cost spam-able ), rune, vigor, Jesus beam, jabs, and a bust ult of your choice (meteor, Destro ult). I was surprised at how well it works especially 1v1 in most cases.

I put this build together for my wife about a year ago and I ran a slightly more offensive version with the same sets but with 2h and D-swing, javelin and ice comet. We ran together and did about as much damage as one player combined. It was a fun way for my wife to get to play pvp with me and not die all the time. When we did get a kill or two it was very rewarding. Anybody new to pvp should try this build then slowly adjust sets and stats toward offense once your skills increase.

A good build to annoy players. Great for survival, fishing or similar. But with this it will be difficult to kill even the mobs guarding the flag on the resources. And you definitely won’t be able to kill a single player. Only if by accident.

U should off course be a Vamp lvl 3

There’s a specific exploit using the skill expunge and modify that necros use to get resources and permablock. I believe they use the set that heals you when you block and block-cast that spell to get resources. Search for recent pvp necro tank builds and you will find someone explaining the set and skill layout.

If you want to really enjoy bgs with this build put on the Jesus beam. Full tank + beam and just assist whoever the best player on your team is. You’ll get a ton of kills and they won’t be able to kill you.

Only viable pvp build for templar nowadays. Jokes aside, it's almost true. There are some more or less viable options, but any other class, except necro, is much better in damage perspective.
