So excited. As a casual player being able to swap my crafter to a viable build without having to grind another like 30 skill points is a game changer.

You forgot the most important piece of information. How to use the armory? When I open it I can't do anything. Nothing I click on does anything and it doesn't have my current build in it so... how do I actually use the table?

@@tones7mca I would suppose you change you will need to have an empty slot (maybe need to purchase in CS) and then swap between those templates (in video magic vs stamina templates or "build"). Look on the bottom section in video and you will find which keybind and option to use while at table. In case you have reached 100 keybind (ESO limitation for how many keybinds you can have set) it is possible you need to click on those option as those key bindings might have been removed when you hit 100 key bind in Settings>Controls. This can happens when you use addon and most addons have keybinds already set (might need to adjust so you keep only keybindings for those addon that you can't use chat command to interact with or really need to control without using their UI).

I figured it out. Bit of a cannot see the woods for the trees scenario. When you open the armory, clicking "save", automatically saves whatever the state of the character is at that point. You can then change what you wish, and save again, this time in a different slot. Saves can be renamed. It just isnt clear that when you first open the armory, all you need to do is click save.

Finally a reason to stick to a single character…. I have 5 builds on my Sorc now.. 3 PvE and 2 PvP… i love it

question, if you use the armorcy system, then swap classes or races, then use the armory system again could you freely swap between classes that way or nah

thanks for the video! But I'm still a little confused. So let me picture how I do this and you tell me if it's wrong. I save my build and then I go respec my build with a skill respecification scroll or something , change my build and go save that new build at the station, right? And do I need to worry about my skill progress? For example I have a skill at 4 (something like flames of oblivion 4) Will It stay at 4 or will it change when I go back at the build where I have this skill? And if it works like a screen shot, does it mean that as I get new skill points and learn new skills or improve old ones, I'd have to renew my new build as it would be better than the one I saved. I'm lvl 43 and I'm yet to gain so many skill points, so I guess when I improve my skill line by a bit I'll want to save my current build. Also If I learn new skills and get back to a build where those skills were not learned, will it unlearn my skills that I learned since then and add to my skill point balance? I'm sorry for this mess but I am that confused.

Hey mate ..silly silly question here but I played ESO for like 3 months 1 year ago. Is it viable to come back to it? Especially with the new expansion released in May? Like do I need to catch up a lot or nothing big has changed. Thanks

A final point to help, if you wanna respec an armory slot, just respec your skills and attributes then save it over any build.

Does it save both swapped skill setups under a single build?

It's such a nice qol improvement, I do wish for zos to implement 2 things though. -First, allowing the Mundus to be switched. -Second, allowing the npc armory assistant to go with you anywhere Great content as always man 👌

Well you got one of your wishes coming up in High Isle…..you will now be able to switch mundus in the armory!

So do each character have two slots? If I buy one or two more can I have 4 alts in one character?

Hey dots nice video, i had no idea about this system as just back to eso! Question tho, if i did buy the armoury merchant as i have no house, does he just function as an armoury system or do i still need that in a house house to set the builds up? (Can i do it all from him without needing a house basically?)

You can do stuff with him! However, keep in mind you can get a free house with the quest starter from the crown store

@@dottzgaming i swap out a lot mid trial and dungeon with aoe dps, st dps and i tank regularly! With him i would be able to switch in on the fly in the dungeon tho wouldn’t I? Also if i want to que a bg, safes me needing to travel i can just do all on the go (i generally keep serpent mundus on for all so no issue there)

Yes, the video explains how the guy works! But yes, it lets you change builds out in the wild not including mundus

I save a build then go to a different character that I want with the same build but it’s not there to equip. I saved it. More then once. Am I missing something?

When I switch and try to change my styles on my armor, it won't allow me to do so. I had to revert back to the original to update my style.

When I did it, it didn't save it and reset my whole build. What did I do wrong?

Who is gonna make the 1st video about Zuqoth the mobile armory advisor from the crown store? Like the mobile banker and ragpicker that we already have. Man I stopped playing eso since 2018 19 ish around the time when they had those mounts that you needed feathers to make, then that vampire expansion dropped. I was around CP 980 something. Not sure to get back into it since I feel like I've missed so much since then... One reasons why I stopped was the constant changes and rebalances to builds, so I stayed being a tank to make little changes as possible, as I remember tank was least effected during build changes. Much has changed probably since. Man I had my fun time eso but life moves on. Still a good game by the looks, just don't have time nowadays.

This is good. We have this already in Fallout 76, and that system doesn’t save gear Loadouts (so you have to swap gear yourself) so this is better! I was excited to be able to switch my Stamplar to a Magplar and all I need is to farm gear. I just nearly finished hunting down Briarheart for Stamina (the damn ring eludes me) now I’m hunting down War Maiden for Magicka and Deadly for Both. The gear/Loadout save is really fantastic.

Better feature then I thought. Mundus thing is a bit weird but I guess they still want to make a profit off those in the crown store and slots that you buy are character bound not account 🤦🏻 ZOS greedy af
