They chain fissures on the same connected level using the skill point upgraded shovel. The game gives you a small tutorial message when you upgrade it too

Just watching a streamer doing this effortlessly, but couldn't figure it out myself watching it in real time. This is so satisfying to watch. And the indeko is the cherry on top. Thanks for making this much needed video.

Ok, it looks like you use the brush and trowel to get the dirt down to the same level then use the Shovel to fully uncover the antiquity all at once, correct?

The trick is to make the longest path possible with the time allotted to guarantee you get all available treasure.
