On hardmode, how did you deal with the defile when you get downstairs? My team is having trouble clearing it not cuz of damage or dying to the walls but because we get defiled and the healer can't effectively heal us up. I didnt see you get defiled at all on this run and I was wondering if there was a way to avoid that mechanic

You can use "Efficient Purge" to remove dots and negative stuff from your players - its on the Alliance Support Skill line.

I use shields to prevent me grom dying too quick.

thx for showing off this. I am not good at this content anyways + hard to find groups at all after the first week, so i decided to not buy any dungeon packs anymore. but glad I can watch them here for bosses and story.

Watched this as a group, and were like "Let's do Normal, lol". Burned through, too Ez. We're like, "Shoulda done it on Vet, lol" - Do wanna say the AoE on PC are red not blue, for anyone looking for blue AoE.

You can change the colors to whatever you’d like. People get rid of the red because it tends to blend in too well with the background.

My group couldn't proceed beyond the 3rd or 4th "area". The area with the Weeping Woman. We could not get through the east exit. Does anyone know why?

Healer seemed strong. What sets were they running? And what would you currently suggest for a healer?

looked like they were running Olorime (dropped in cloudrest) for sure, not sure about the other set. as a healer main i run Olorime and Hollowfang (drops in moongrave fane), it gives good sustain to the group. this dungeon also drops a fantastic monster set helm perfect for healers. Jorvulds guidance set also works really well with Olorime.

I know this thread is old but all of it is still viable. I would suggest Hollowfang body five piece and spell power cure staffs and jewelry front bar resto staff, back bar ice staff (this is your starter healer build after you hit gear cap) and will carry you through most normal trials. Make sure to have divines on all body gear with max magicka glyphs, necklace as spell damage glyph, rings have arcane glyphs, resto staff has powered trait with absorb magicka or spell damage glyph and frost staff has charged trait with frost glyph. Later on you have multiple options, vestment of olorime from cloudrest is a good match to replace spell powered cure. Or you could go for roaring opportunist from kynes aegis matched with stone talkers oath from rockgrove, they both proc off a heavy attack and mesh well together. Eventually get the master resto staff of grand rejuvenation from Normal or veteran dragon star arena. I’m a healer main so this is what I would suggest.

on the first boss, the tank and the healer in my group ask me to remove my ice staff. Im mage necro dps810. Can someone explain why? im still learning and would like to know why... whats wrong with my ice staff?

Ice staves taunt enemies, so you probably kept bringing the boss or enemies towards you rather than the tank

ive done this dung like 5 times on vet as healer and beat it but when im a tank and do vet we get him to 1 mil hp and the fucking ice spike nukes me so we fail and they quit.

I was in normal mod, not vet, but At 21:14 i dead multiples times with no hope of completing it because I could not kill the aurorean.. there life steal was greater than my damage (it was solo with my nord magicka hybrid sorc and my Lvl 8 healing companion). guess I need a tank and or better healer than my companion LOL. I still dont know how to kill them, but I must assume in a 4 man group if the tank grabs there agro, then the 2 dps can kill the aurorean.

pretty standard stuff, hit it and it will die. Your time stamp is referring to a basic add pull. And we do demonstrate and explain all this in the video. However if your time stamp is inaccurate and you are referring to the Orb boss...you need to hit the orb until it is unable to be damaged anymore THEN kill the Aurorans else they will continuously heal.

Look at the health. Fake kings will have a white bar type thing on his health ( which means he wont take damage) look for the one with a normal health bar

How much should a dps do damg to even do this

Thank you for the guide. I am cp 600 and cant tank the first boss with my nightblade tank. 2 x 5 defensive sets and Lord Warden for monster set around 50k hp stiill that poison dmg of the first boss just impossible to tank. Any tips for a beginner?

I’d say maybe try having the healer and or some of the dps to try running barrier, or if ur a DK try casting the DK shield or the undaunted ones. I’ve never tanked vet before so I can’t speak on this in particular but in things like vhof where there’s been heal checks and I’ve had trouble passing it throwing a barrier or even having 2,3, or 4 people rotate turns casting it can basically make the whole group unkillable. Hope this helps

You don't need an add-on. You get it in settings menu. You change colour of the Harmful/ Ally ground effects.

Im not "rushing it" I'm trying to keep up and explain while it is happening as clear as possible. HOWEVER there is a slow down function on youtube which makes things much clearer and also doesn't distort the voice so i sound like I'm in slow mo if that helps.
