I come here often to listen to this song. When a person doesn't know their roots, music will always connect them. Wish my grandmother had not hidden from us her culture. This song digs deep into me . I can't explain the feeling but it's there.

Alas I just discovered her now. 24 April 2017.

As I made the clip four years ago there was so good like nothing about Esma Redzepova on KZread. I heard the song as a background music in a documentary about Roma and Sinti, but it was uncomplete. I loved it at once and decided to make a clip with it. Long time I was looking on internet for a better version of it. Finally I found one and made the clip. Now there are many thousants videos about her on KZread but this clip which caused it - means made her popular here, mine - has been blocked all over the world by the owner of the copyrights to the music. What could I say? Just... thank you!. But after I sent to them this comment they took off their restriction, so we can watch it free again. Let's all say - THANK YOU!

I am proud to say that because they made my life interesting and I loved them as my own family. After a long time apart, I found them.
