This happened to my friend back then in university. Everyone was begging her father to let them marry because they really loved each other but he refused bitterly. She actually ran away and got married! She was the only daughter and her father just couldn’t accept her marrying a Christian. She ran away with her husband to America. She has children and the father never agreed till he died! She went to Nigeria with her husband and children for her father’s funeral. Hmm
