Schrödinger's stairwell. Up or down? The stairs have both in either direction. This illusion remains unexplainable. The guy looks like climbing a whole KL tower at the end.

The shot at 2:57 was actually very nicely done.

I was expecting him to throw the gum wrapper between the stairs to the level below him. If he did that it would be good to have the wrapper fall from above soon after.

i would believe it if there weren't any jump cuts, just a straight video so you know exactly where he is. The next floor is just as generic as the previous, so showing him climb up the lower stairs and saying he's climbing the above floor's stairs is believable, but you can't expect people to beleive it when you aren't showing everything
