I’ve been worrying about you, and am so glad to see you back. You’re a ray of sunshine in these times.

I was worried too hehehe
I’m an introvert who lives alone so the isolation is nothing new to me and I actively enjoy it. I talk to myself all the time, or perhaps I should say to the air rather than to myself I just have my inner dialogue out loud, but I’m well aware that I do it so it’s ok. I also talk to the radio and tv, but I am most definitely sane. There’s is absolutely nothing wrong with talking to yourself 👍🏻. I enjoy your vlogs and I’m happy to see that you’re alright and thriving. Well done 😊

I am the same! Live alone, introvert, and talk to myself all the time! I also have 2 indoor cats--talk to them too, and they talk back to me ♥

Talking aloud is just another way of externalising and bringing your thoughts into reality. Some people do this by writing their thoughts down on paper, others do it via video vlogs, some write songs and sing them..........and some of us just speak our thoughts to externalise them and step outside them, to more clearly and easily understand them. So anyone who thinks we are mad for doing this, must be mad themselves because they do the same thing inside their heads.

@@margietucker1719 I live alone I talk to my three cats all the time they follow me all through the house lol. Sometimes I get lonely and would love to go out to so many places but I am disabled so I have to stay close to home.
Well done young man! You cheer this old man up! You have the right attitude, just do it! And although you're here already for four years may I welcome you to Ireland 🇮🇪 ☔🌤️⚡⛈️🌂😁
thank you for the advice, I am an introvert also and I work from home, and alone most of the time, my friends tell me I might go crazy but we introverts can really cope with isolation very well... I actually prefer to be alone when working! take care and good luck with your projects!
Your life is wonderful my friend. A great example of self sufficiency and being one with nature. Could not get any better than that.

So simple and yet so profound!
You are inspirational, especially to someone like myself who is introverted.
He's alive!! Thank goodness for that.
Hi, great to see your still alive and well , you are so lucky to be living in fresh air, countryside and freedom, I share all your beleifs ,I am stuck in a flat in Darlington,England in this lockdown, and miss hiking in the countryside in Richmond ,North Yorkshire, I am still hoping to win the lottery to buy a place in the countryside, take care Daniel and mossy , Gary Jones

I'm so sorry that you are stuck in a flat. I'm blessed to live out in the North Texas countryside--on my beautiful, little piece of land. I wish the same for you. Save as much as you can, cut expenses. Be diligent. You CAN make it happen! You just have to want it bad enough. Good luck.
Hello, Daniel! I’m a pretty extreme introvert myself. So it’s been illuminating to confirm for myself that, although it’s tempting to imagine escaping all this scariness to live far away from society off the land as self sufficiently as possible, I’m finding myself more attracted to the scenes of drive-by birthday parties for a neighbor, or people sharing music across courtyards and balconies. We all need to think about our own ideal between society and nature. We all need both. I know you chose to live where you do because you are near a small hamlet, and an internet connection. I need to know that when I choose to come out of my shell, that I am within walking distance of a coffee shop, farmers market, and library. A hiking trail nearby is lovely too. And a backyard garden. It certainly is a time of reflection of what is important to each of us. Thanks for allowing all of us to see a different way to be. Knowing how intentional you’ve been about choosing this, and making it happen, allows us all to make sure we do the same with our own dreams.
I've been thinking about you and wondering when we'd see another video. It was great to see it pop up. I too, am an introvert, so staying home and focusing on my homestead even more, has been a gift to me. I have children that normally require me to leave my place much more, than I would choose on my own. I've wondered for awhile if being able to stay home all the time would bring me as much peace and happiness as I imagined it would. It does!!! I love it! Great to see your projects. Some similar ones here. Looking forward to more. Best wishes to you also.

I was thinking about you the other day, wondered how you were getting on. Lovely to see you and Mossy again, and looking so well. Look forward to your future video's. As for talking to ones self, I do it all the time. Take care.
You have very good neighbours and the Irish are renown for their friendly and kind natures
Huzzah!! Have a wonderful gardening season. xxPS. re " talking to self".... it's the only place I get good answers🥳👍🏽🤣
Hi Mossybottom! I moved to Ireland county longford in the county, I live in a caravan with my border collie whilst I'm doing up a cottage on my parents land. I've been here 10 months and have learned so much about cementing, plastering, electrics and plumbing. I love ireland, rain or shine. Good on you my friend.
I feel calm when and after watching your videos. A lot of content has a frenetic "must hold your attention" feel about it, which is nowhere to be seen. Love the videos, please keep that style as I think it's what makes your content unique and and so enjoyable
Very positive view! Great to see someone else focusing on working through things by sharing your experiences.
I am so happy to see you and learn of the progress you’ve made! We think of you often. Blessings, Mary
Welcome back. We too are about to move from London to a village near Kilkenny and would love to come and WWOOF with you. My wife's a fantastic builder. She'll come and sort out that cottage restoration project while i'm more of a gardener. We come with our own teepee! Thanks for your inspiration and tips

Jo Wright my partner and I are in London - also about to go somewhere to Wwoof if possible.. Somewhere very rural. I'm a gardener and he's a carpenter..
Good to see you and Mossy again. I see your magic has been extended to the kune female along with nugget and Mossy not to mention your subscribers! You're as welcome as the flowers in May as my uncle used to say. Great that you have so many plans and I look forward to seeing them in action. The hair is fabulous incidentally!
Nice to finally see you Mossy, I keep you in prayer. OBVIOUSLY...'No moss grows under your feet!' You must feel relief over your elevated land berm against moisture = one less problem. The guest house is beautiful! You canNOT tell me that you are not a craftsman. The chickens will have a grand roost/coop! The granary is looking loved/appreciated again. And AHhhh, the 'greens' of Ireland...balm for any drooping spirit. How blessed you are in countless ways, but especially of 'spirit'. I know that it is hard NOT to work on Sundays...but in doing so, you give 'thanks' to thee one who has given you soOOooo much...you also allow your tired body to re-coop! = Double benefit. AND...by so doing...you never get behind...the work waits...the body heals...the blessings are allowed to flow. God Bless you n' yours...and thank-you for giving us an update.
I look forward to seeing more of the building stuff because that is what I know least about and what scares me the most. I'm at the crossroads where I either work up the courage and just do it now or probably never. I think I might.

I think you should do it I have been saying I'm going to do things for years and years. Well now I'm too old to do what I wanted to do. With everything going on I think its best to get out of city area's if you want to make a change now would be the best time. I wish you all the luck and happiness in your life 😊
We can talk to ourselves, but we can also talk to the plants we put in the ground, the trees around us, our home and, of course, our pets, if we have any. They all appreciate it and respond to the attention. By the way, that`s the secret behind many people`s green thumb. :=)
I love your tips for isolation. I laughed out loud at number 3 (talk to yourself). I talk things through when I drive my car. It helps me prepare for some conversations (introvert too), problem solve and vent. I also sing like a madwoman to tunes I love which makes it entertaining to watch other on-coming drivers! Can't wait to see all your projects. Thanks.

Hello from Yuma Arizona! I’ve been here six months. Yes I’ve been talking to myself quite a bit lately and my theory is that the human voice is essential to our survival and mental and emotional health. You are doing a great job over there and I’m looking forward to creating some kind of garden in my brick back yard. Maybe eventually developing a big garden on a neighbor’s land. 🌴☀️🌴☀️🌴
Great to see you again Mossy Bottom, love the series. Would love to have a little plot of my own, but making the most of my window pots and sunspots!
Dreams... your dream is manifesting in a lovely way for you. All the best!
Genuine people are enjoyable to listen to - Thanks Mossy Bottom!
Very inspiring, very well thought out logical presentation with a beautiful touch of magic and a huge amount of passion and hard graft. I wish you great success and I'm very grateful for your information dedication and sharing your experiences. Thank you very much Regards Gareth Wiltshire UK. Gratitude.
Welcome back! Sending peace from South Africa ✌️🇿🇦!!!
So nice to see you again and all the animals.
Lol, I've always talked to myself 😁 lovely to have an update from you. The thing with posting less videos is that your fans are really looking forward to them and I can see you have been busy. I just rewatch them... when I think ooh not seen any posts from Mossy Bottom, I just rewatch them 😁 good to see you looking well and happy, I quite like the longer locks x x
Your days must be packed with stuff to do. No time to think about anything else. Your farm is looking very good. Your pigs and cattle look so well looked after. That's how animals were meant to be cared for.
good to see you back! I am an introvert so isolation not bothering me, just sad and anxious a lot of the time. Maintaining a routine and purpose helps, as does talking to myself 😁
Very nice video!! I shared it to my Facebook with my over 2,500 followers there. So glad to see you are thriving and accomplishing so many projects. Wise man. Life is our own to make.
I quite adore you :) And I think the cow behind you thought you were quite mad, talking to yourself, interrupting her breakfast.... how wonderful :)
Your small "farm" looks great. All the best for the coming summer. Hope to see you soon !
Glad to hear all your news, Thankyou!
Thanks for the update, keep busy!
Nice to see you again. I don't mind sporadic videos. I think each video is better that way. I have to talk to myself. Sometimes I need expert advice!
Great to see you back .
Really good to see you ❤
What a treat, to see notification of your video pop up. I have been thinking about you and hoping you were thriving. I lead a fairly isolated life myself being an artist and am making the most out of this time....I too talk to myself or the dogs...😊 Keep healthy and safe, and enjoy your many projects....xx
Sorry i haven’t checked in on you for a while. Will catch up on all your latest videos. The pigs were a wonderful surprise. Do you think about bee keeping? Kate at The Last Homely House gets great satisfaction from hers. I saw the blue horse trailer and wondered what has happened to the wonderful movable chicken house you built.? Good to see you carrying on so well.
Thanks for sharing this great experience.
Simply Wonderful!
Enjoyed your video and look forward to more!
So good to see you back!!! You are an inspiration!!!
Always a pleasure to hear from you and Mossy. Be safe and well.
Great video. Love what your doing X
Like the hair! At least we don't have to learn to isolate....I live on my six acres in central Florida...backs up to a state forest. I have a small cottage, large barn, garden and lots of pasture. So I really enjoy hearing from you. I have had Border Collie's since visiting Scotland and the Shetlands many years ago - can't imagine life without them. I wanted to say that I too make goals every day....and try to finish them. I love to work - I am 75 and maintain my six acres, with a wonderful garden - but, due to our summer heat do not try a summer garden - too many bugs. Can't wait to see your cottage when you show us. Take care - hugs to Moss and stay healthy and happy! Judy H.
Can’t wait to follow the developments. Thanks for the content.
Your back!!!!
Good to see you're well, Daniel. Great video as always. Cheers! :)
