The fact he’s so hesitant to give away information and the fact he can’t get pearled out implies he is a higher rank than he admits perhaps the founder of leader of the local sect and the use of words implies that it’s some sort of assassins guild or creed an assassins creed if you will

I love the hints throughout the video that this is more than just an origins episode. Like the narration saying it's his first time getting captured at 0:50, or the glitching to the void at 9:46, 14:56. This is the prison in his mind that Mythrodak was put into, forced to relive his regrets, the death of Chase, and the falling out and forced abandonment of Sven.

I like how this was more of a backstory on Sven and why he has done what he has. Really added to the plot on so many different levels. Absolute masterpeice

My favorite thing about Mythrodak's videos are the fact that they manage to create an intricate and well thought out scenario, with really well written dialogue, a really good story, and not just a simple guide on how to escape a certain prison.

If you think about it, Sven was also in a prison his entire life. He had to always make a prision for Mythrodak, always having to make the next one better and better. He only escaped when Mythrodak got trapped in his own mind. Or did he escape?

This is really incredible - I truly admire the way you realized that your videos of just escaping would die eventually and turned them into something more. This was great, an amazing prequel for a great series.

The production value here is insane. Especially for how (relatively) quickly this came out. You’ve got skills my guy, you could do so much with this. You’ve already seamlessly evolved from a series of Minecraft prison escapes to just an actual full on story. You did NOT need to go this hard but you did

youtube doesn’t deserve to have this video. the writing and quality is just immaculate. and i love how this whole thing started as some random challenge and has evolved into an amazing story. it really just speaks wonders about what youtubers can actually make. thank you mythrodak, for this masterpiece.

easily the best video she's made. the music, cinematography, storytelling, all on point. while ivory's prison-breaking days are over, hopefully we get more stuff like this in the future.

The story is amazing, know piecing it together what I see is that this is Mythro’s backstory, and from what I think, chase’s dead ghost is the pumpkin, who sent Sven to capture mythro. Mythro keeps getting brought into the prison from the help of the pumpkin, who’s on Svens side. That’s sad :/

Literally a cinematic masterpiece. Insane how much effort and honed skill has gone into this... at the end, I noted him taking all of the materials, along with finally turning and hitting sven. When sven broke into the arena and just started attacking, and mythrodak just.. took it for a while? Magnificent. And then he began running, and then he tried to talk, and then he hit sven, he took everything, and he left. I adore that. And the entire fight with chase i was watching, knowing that it couldn't have gone well; sven held a grudge, there had to be a reason. I knew chances were chase would die, but I kept watching and hoping, and just as I stopped thinking about chase's health and life, as the fight became another fight and went just long enough to be about winning, he died. So abruptly... adore that. I just love this. At another point, when he was first trying to think of a way out, the voice over and visuals were so investing, i was dragged out of his thoughts with him when sven asked if he was going to eat his food. Also much appreciation to the opponent who sat in the corner shield up the whole time, even when the ravagers were on the opposite side focused on mythrodak :) 100000/10 absolute work of art, insane effort. SO INVESTING. I just watched all videos chronologically and saw the whole journey without spoiling recent videos and it is such a journey, and I just LOVE it

“hello sven i need you to make a prison” maybe a prison for Mythrodak, i think sven has to build a prison to contain him possibly to bring back chase, he’s made a deal with the devil

Dude I can’t stop coming back to this video, it’s living in my head rent free ALL THE TIME, it’s so GOOD

Oh man. This entire story was incredibly well done. I doubt I could even get started on all my favorite parts of this story, but screw it I'll do some anyway. -The bird (Shiratori) being named after the Japanese prisoner who escaped 4 prisons with increasingly more ridiculous strategies. -The parallels of the end of this video and the escaping Gaia's Vault video (Mythrodak saying goodbye to Sven as he rises into the raining air with his trident, and Sven saying goodbye to Mythrodak as he sends him falling into the Abyss, Mythrodak killing Chace and Sven killing Shiratori). -The entire story being planned out so that the end of this video leads directly to Posiden's Vault, and the end of Gaia's Vault leads directly to the Abyss. The entire story seemed in some way planned out from the start, which is very impressive. -Just the storytelling, acting, visuals, music, and composition in general being just... Amazing? The shaders were a really nice touch, and a lot of the prisons looked really nice with them. I will say one thing I wish was changed was the music at the end of Gaia's Vault having a similar motif to the music at the end of this one, that would've been a really nice touch. But overall, this story was really nice. Great job Sven, and great job Mythrodak!

The story makes so much sense now! Sven keeps trying to make prisons against Mythrodak because Chase died to Mythrodak on accident. While Shiro (Mythrodak’s parrot) died to Sven on purpose. Karma comes around and that!s what happened to Mythrodak.

I've been a fan of Minecraft Roleplay for years, but oh my god this has to be one of the best ones I've seen. The story makes sense, there's real emotion in it, and the fact that the entire thing was started by Sam building Pandora's Vault and claiming it to be inescapable, only for others to then continuously try to upstage him, is just amazing. Absolutely amazing job, dude!

I love how the 100 lives thing mentioned offhand is a good way to explain away minecraft mechanics in universe while still keeping some of the stakes intact.

You know its really good when the whole thing could actually be a netflix show. Just imagine, a prison where people are forced to fight to the death, and at 100 kills you get let out? This is so good. Not only is there so many emotions and feelings to the whole thing, an amazingly well written story and script, an amazing build, characters you can connect to, and an engaging storyline. This whole thing was filmed in MINECRAFT, like come on. The fact you built the map yourself, and made your own music just shows that if you do so choose to move away from minecraft and go to real life productions, you would be incredibly succesful. Judging by your voice you sound fairly young so best wishes on whatever careeer you persure, though in my opinion show/movie production is a clear choice.

it does sound like the Hunger Games minus the 100 kills because there are only 24 tributes in the Hunger Games

so this is the start of the lore of myth vs sven and all the prisons i love how u and ur relation ship with sven create such an cool back story and after all that kills he made a butt ton of prisons just to contain one person

Holy craft. I am just... wow. I cant. This is amazing. The editing is the absolute BEST I have seen on youtube. This is professional. The writing, the photography... Its all Top tier. I have seen shows try to be this and fail.

I almost cried at the ending, So neither of them is inherently evil. Sven is just avenging his friend, If only they had escaped together......

Mythrodak, I just can’t believe it you have production tricks I could never even comprehend and the prison escape part is almost even better than the intro.

This was like the pre-lude to the rest of the escapes. Very nice video

This guy is such a badass. He doesn't need an entire smp to make incredibly interesting lore. His editing is on par with quackity and Evan MC gaming. If anyone deserves to be introduced in dream SMP season 4, it's mythrodak.

When i saw the “these duels are not scripted” i knew this video was gonna be a masterpiece

this is why i LOVE the music in the gladiator pit it just fits the setting so well during the fights the music is packed with action and excitement chases death is so moody, dramatic, and sad best of all friend is so impactful and sad it just submerges you in the feeling of Shiratori's death probably friend, the blind woman, or the storm is probably my favorite on the ost channel still my favorite song from you has to be lost at see on the mythrodak 1 channel.

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!!! And you made the music too omg, truly amazing work, everyone who made this. Woah. I particularly enjoyed the voice acting in "one week ago" also how the music starts going around 17:20 and 17:52 and the beat drop at 23:08 it's so so so good!!!!
