Alistair absolutely nailed it with three exceptional houses.The couple were lovely and so positive and I really hope they purchased the mystery house.Lucky for them,if they did.

Alistair is always a wonderful host. All three houses were unique in their own ways, and very beautiful. The couple was such a delight to watch. They had a really great positive energy. I bet they are lots of fun to travel with.

Who else LOVES Alistair, like the Nectar loves the Bee? (Or, something like that)❤🎉😂

House number one has my heart from the get-go. Absolutely beautiful proportions and finishes. The apple orchard and greenhouse are the icing on the cake.

This is the downfall of this programme. So you always feel as if it was a waste of time. Plus I really dislike them showing the homes at the start - you feel as if you have seen the show within the first ten minutes.

House #1 is gorgeous, but it's huge! I'd never get it cleaned regularly. I probably wouldn't leave the library! House #2 OMG! What a house! Again, its huge! I suppose you could rent boarding space to horse owners. I wouldn't have a clue what to do with it all! Mystery house: very modern, yet unique. You'd almost have to buy it just for the ability to say you owned it.

I'd use the annexes as holiday lets for people with horses on vacation if there are bridal trails nearby or just regular holiday lets.

I think the airplane was the catch with the mystery house. Apart from that wild guess, all the houses were gorgeous in their own way.

Oh, how I wish we knew what happened to some couples, especially delightful people such as these people. (He reminds me of my Uncle Mike. Must be the Scottish ancestry.) Always enjoy Alistair's clever wit and EttC is very much enjoyed.

I love watching this show so much. The UK is so very beautiful: the history, the architecture, but most of all the incredible scenery gets me every time!

House 1 is lovely and needs a family with lots of children running around. House 2 is great. The Mystery House is a fabulous place to be. That would be my favourite.

I appreciate the inclusion of this slightly unconventional couple. The mystery house is a great buy -- I don't know if airplane noise and/or pollution figure into that equation.

Did it kind of bother anyone else that they only wanted it for about 3 years? it seems it would take longer to do the things they wanted to do than that. Also how do you get an orchard in just 3 years doesn't it take way longer?

Yes, I don't understand buying for such a short time. I found it funny when she said she could plant an orchard...she won't be there long enough to partake of the fruit!

Yes. And her comment that 9 years was long enough worries me. A lot of money wasted paying taxes to the government buying and selling.

Gosh those houses were stunning! I’d be happy just to live in one of the annexes of the second house lol.

I fell in love with house number one but then the mystery house just blew me away. I hope they bought the mystery house and are still enjoying it today.

House 1 - loved it, magnificent house and gardens. House 2 was cute, liked it - ceilings too low for me personally. Mystery - well I spied my least favorite feature, a spiral staircase in the wonderful kitchen's corner. Apart from that I thought it was a great place.

Wow, I have the exact same opinion about that episode! And I thought everybody loved spiral staircases but me! 😅 Get rid of it! 👍

Three lovely homes with nice kitchens. I love the unusual beginnings of the mystery so would jave chosen it!

If I was lucky enough to live in England and was looking for a home, where I could work from home, I would have snapped up the Mystery House. It looked absolutely perfect. The first 2 houses were fine houses but much too large. The 2nd I would have considered if I was looking to rent out to family or a friend. Otherwise, it had at least one annex too many.

Alistair is my fav host....he's a lovely man...he has a way of making all houses seem desirable. (and he's pretty desirable himself ;) )

Judging by the comments section, I may be the only one who didn't like any of the houses. Least of all the mystery house. The 2nd one is ok, but also not fabulous. I guess tastes differ. I'm probably more the chocolate box country cottagy type 😁😇

It appears that they like to experience new places and adventures including how and where they live. Sharon has lived this way for many years and across a number of countries. When there are no ties to hold her/them back (and finances don't appear to be a problem), why not?

Something doesn't gel with this couple. Only get together once a year and only looking for a house for 3 years.🤔 Three years just fly. I think they will never buy nevermind. They are WOTs viz waste of time.
