I need to explore again, my life has became the same thing daily, it's having a negative effect on my mental health and made it hard to come up with ideas for KZread videos. My job comes back in February, I was thinking of working that job 6 days a week, then before work I'll either go to gym, boxing classes or record KZread videos, then spend my one off day fully working on KZread. The thought of this became overwhelming yesterday and I broke down. Instead I'll work my job 5 days so I'll have one off day to focus on KZread and self improvement but another off day to relax and explore and have a good time, the Bible says we need a rest day but I haven't been following that and draining myself

I got "outside" starting this past October. I bought an electric unicycle, taught myself to ride it, and rode around my local towns and city. Not only did I learn how nice greenways are, learn to read the ground and people around me, and challenge myself; I also end up starting a lot of conversations and enjoying the scenery at whatever pace I want. Even the stressful 38 mile "I'm a bit lost and may not have the battery to get back" trip was a huge blessing and experience.

Man, I love this, the punch line cracked me up because it’s so obvious. I don’t have a car so I often walk routes I’ve seen before, but that has it’s own merits. I get to see day-by-day the seasons changing and businesses opening and closing; there’s different characters and scenes, but also regular pedestrians with whom I exchange pleasantries. In the Northeast U.S. it can get cold and dreary, but you just put on more clothes, and hold tight to that piece of your identity that is a daily walk and being a ‘backyard adventurer’ as Beau Miles says. Kudos to you for being on the internet telling people to get off the internet :)

LOVE this concept Joey. So simple yet it's EXACTLY what we need to hear... what I love about going outdoors is the unexpected conversations - I have lived in my city for 15+ years so I know damn near 1/4 of the people in the entire city. So there's like an 80% chance I'll bump into someone I know which is always fun. Plus, all the other benefits: sunlight, cardio, blah blah blah. It's simple! Living outside of four walls is the QUICKEST way to get healthy dopamine. I'll finish with a quote about this which I love: "if we were meant to stay in one place, we would have roots instead of feet."

It´s been a while since I started to watch self help videos and it's important to put in practice what any youtuber or author has to say, because it's so simple to fall in a spiral of content with the illusion of making change, when the simplest actions in life is what leads to major changes, like a good sleep schedule, go to the gym, cooking for the week or simply just take a 10 minute walk, take the morning sunlight, etc. THANK YOU! 😄

I know the feeling of the world shrinking around me. Suffering from clinical anxiety, my fears blow up at the same time, making the fill out my entire existence. And as wornout as it may sound: getting outside helps me. I go on daily walks to fight this feeling. And it helps. Simply experiencing the world around me, reminds that there is so much more to life. And it sets my problems and fears into perspective, helping me realize how manageable my problems are.

Honestly this is really important, as even though (sadly) many people use the "go outside to the real world, touch some grass" thing as an insult, it really is beneficial. I'm the first person to say that yes we need inside days, yes the internet can be a nice place to connect with a community you don't have close to you where you live or learn about new things that again you don't have direct access to irl etc but there is soooo much cognitive bias that trap people in their own bubble for better but also for worse, yet very few people realise it or make the effort of going outside in all the meanings it can have because they don't want to encounter things they don't like or get disappointed that something doesn't work when actually it is how life is and how we find what we're looking for, even if it takes a bit of time, because a currated bubble that ends up putting people in a state of huge bias or denial is never good

I wanna be a Filmmaker one day, i'm always imagining stories and writing plots etc. But i feel like i have lost myself so much into the Fantasy and the storytelling...that i have forgot to *enjoy* things instead of *writing it down, taking pictures, record it* . Thanks dude, still My favorite Channel on KZread, and what you said at the end, so true...for my Big surprise, sometimes those friends i think don't like me that much, are simply giving me space, respecting my space...the barriers that I have created for myself. And the Only thing i have to do to connect with them *more deeply* is just as simple as breaking the barriers, show up to parties, making myself present. Im thankful for my friends, for respecting my space...maybe a lil too much, and just waiting for the day i decide to go watch a movie with them, giving me a big hug and making me part of the gang...i always was. I just wouldnt show up so i didnt knew i indeed *was and always have been part*

Great video. I figured out that in my case eending my unfulfilling career and stopping to work in general would be the biggest contribution to ending my unhappiness. I once did a sabbatical for 1 year, living on subtropical islands, did some voluntary garden work there, but no paid 9-6 job. It was wonderful. Yes, I still had my depression due to childhood trauma I can't resolve, and yes, nothing was perfect. But this horrible job was gone, the social pressure at the workplace and all that stress and sitting in front of a screen for 10 hours a day. One of the most terrible days of my life was when I had to return to work after this one year off. I think most of us are not designed for a 40 to 50 hour work week. It's just too much, it impoverishes our lives and the most sensitive among us suffer the most. As a society, we still don't manage to organise worklife in a way that we're not destroying ourselves.

Thank you, you always hit the mark. Your videos are beautiful, you are very talented with your cinematography and your messages make us feel that we're not alone. Ram Dass "we're all walking each other home." You are walking with many people 🙏

Every theory you ever put out , I have known most of that , but I wasn't assured , but you give me that assurance and hope that my theories can work... You are the best out there...keep up the good work...

I've produced over 200 tracks in 2020 and in that time, I've noticed my production process has become incredibly stagnant and boring, And you are exaaaaactly right!!!! I need to get OUT THERE so I can bring some of it back into my creative process... Also, the part about exposing yourself to social scrutiny is incredibly profound because its how we grow socially. Very profound. Thank you thank you thank you!!! My friend, Ms demira told me about your channel a year and a half ago, and it was helpful then, and it's helpful now! Thanks for being there for me, parasocially. It's been helpful in a profound way, just wanted to share how your videos have shed some light for me. I owe you a coffee sometime man, cheers 🥂
