i saw a discord mod in the tarkov discord put this up last night "If you are currently doing the questline on PVE, you will not be able to take part in the global kill 1 million skier or peacekeeper goons. THIS IS INTENTIONAL. You will receive whatever stuff comes after this particular quest though. The skier and peacekeeper goons do spawn on PVE, but they do not count towards the global counter"

Do you back out when you get matchmaking? If I get matchmaking, I just wait 5-10 seconds and if it doesn’t start loading loot, back out and re queue. This has been getting me into raids almost instantly. Rarely, it won’t work and I just have to wait the 5-8 minutes. But majority of the time backing out and re queuing works great.

@@IronEagle990 That's where I'm at, and I have issues with it. And if I back out and re-queue, it rarely works out, and I lose time anyways if it was shorter than 2 min because my game tends to freeze for a min when I back out.

Finally found a flash drive yesterday in the Factory safe! However im very slow going on the other quest so not sure ill get to the end to contribute or get loot.

go scav reserve and look in all the file cabinets, you get 1 a raid or if you're lucky 2. you can also buy on flea but you have to spam refresh and purchase as fast as possible lol

somehow reserve safes seem to be buggy with that quest. looted a couple of them and found 90% of the time 2 of the encrypted flash drives at once in them

I havent found a single one of the peacekeepers alive. I ran probably 10 shoreline raids and either never saw them because I get sprayed down by a spear from outside my hearing distance or found them dead. Genuinely pissing me off because the rest of the questline seems easy enough. I really hate quests that are rng dependant where you can get really unlucky for extended periods of time even though the task itself isnt hard.

Wait!? so wtf happened to the "tarkov mystery" questline. I just did the 2nd part to turn in the hard drive from lighthouse and then it gave me obstruction destruction... but you're saying it's over? Wtf.... so if we picked peacekeeper its over and no more quests???? I'm so lost rightnow.

are they guaranteed to spawn once you have the task? just did a shoreline, went to resort, weather station, and smugglers area. i extracted bc i had signal pt 1 task to do. but i didn't see any of them in that raid

@@soloscratch3621 I had to do 3 raid and eventually found them. I did the task on PVE, and if you’re doing the same, I’ll share something I figured out. If you get near an area where the peacekeeper people should be, throw nades or listen for AI PMCs to yell or kill scavs. If the PMCs are there, go on to the next spot

I have heard that you can fail the questline, so maybe the team that loses does not get the rewards? But I am hopeful along with you that they'd have at least a 2nd chance quest because that would be pretty not cool of them to make your pass/fail based on what everyone else chooses. Also, there appears to be so many people in game today on Saturday afternoon that the servers are taking a dump, I can't even load the game. Anyone else?

Do you mean safe runs as in runs that are safe to do or loot runs for looting safes? Scav on reserve and loot filing cabinets as a run that is safe. If you want to hit lots of safes go to shoreline. There are safes in admin building, gas station, cottages, weather station, and pier

You need to progress the new quest line to a certain point other wise keep at it it will appear it will unlock after Mechanic - "Seeking Information" hope that helps

So if I start loading a raid, if I get “matchmaking” for more than 5-10 seconds, I back out and re-queue. I’ve found this to be faster than waiting for the long matchmaking, as I’ve waited up to 18 minutes to get into raid doing that. I just back out and re queue until I get an “instant” load in where matchmaking either doesn’t appear, or only appears for a second or two before starting to load loot. It’s a pain in the rear, but it’s been a work around for me until they get more servers up and running.

Try reserve. I get stacked on flash drives by checking the safes and cabinets near d2. Most times raiders are down there tho

Customs Scav runs at night. Run straight to dorms - Loot all the filing cabinets and all the jackets, then use any keys you find to loot safes. Check all hidden stashes on your way to extract. You should find one every 2-3 runs. GL
