@A Tx It was more overt with the Souls games type of difficulty, that being bullshit encounters like the run to the bell guy. Bad hit boxes like the ogre grab. It didn't have the level of looping like DkS or sequence breaking, basically more linear. Spells were super powerful. It's matching was based on soul memory. Lastly it contradicted the lore. Personally I liked it more than any of them. DkS3 felt way more bullshit at times but that's because I think good game design gives you more of a chance beyond waiting thirty minutes for the enemy to give you an opening. DkS2 also had more unique weapons.

Low key forget every play through about prowling magus until I kill it in like 15 seconds.

Chimble, Master of Chimney possible AV desync. It looks like they have a couple different stations running so it could’ve strained the setup. My best guess anyway 🤷‍♂️

frigid outskirts isn't a badly designed area, and lud/zallen isn't a bad boss. it was just explicitly designed to be played co-op, not solo. it was only badly designed for people who refuse to play in any way other than their own... or for people who speedrun. ...it's still a shitty area

Okay but that's stupid. I'm currently playing on an Xbox 360 ( grabbed a refurbished one for the memories and found my old copy of dark souls 2 on my parents attic somehow). There no Xbox live to play with even if anyone was playing the game. Trying to force people to co on is shitty game design. Either make an NPC automatically spawn or just leave it single player.

It’s a mod that fixes a stupid mechanic. Pretty sure every dark souls speed run has a mod or two as the meta. And they’re chosen/voted by people who run the game, not random viewers deciding rules.

It's not just a stupid mechanic it's a broken mechanic and it has been proven that baby jumps happens less the higher fps you have and run it on higher end computers meaning people with better computers will have an advantage. It is essentially a bug fix to make it more consistent and even the playing ground

Was just curious to see if this game was really as bbad as people say. 36:50 to see the amazing bossfight. XD he just stands right in front of him and the boss misses every swing
