Jamie when I get my next paycheck, as long there are no restrictions from Bahrain 🇧🇭, I got you bro $$! Thanks for your content…. I got to give back to you and some other greats out there in the world of emulation. Been a gamer since ‘88, so I appreciate all of you guys who do videos on anything emulation! I may have mentioned that I got into emulation as a hobby back in 2020 with Launch Box…. I dedicated a lot of hours to make my build …. and not too many people were doing how-to-vids back then (especially any that included troubleshooting) … but yeah, you guys now make it less of a hassle with your instructional videos…

Screenscraper can get like that sometimes. Try the other scraper in ESDE.

Create another account if you can… easiest solution, no? And use a notebook to make a password log… keep it somewhere safe… and update it as soon as you make any new accounts or changes to existing accounts. Hope these suggestions help… they do help me..

Hi Jamie can you use bezels in duck station or would I need to use a core in retroarch for that thanks

how to add ryujinx? i dont get it to work. i mean the emulator is working but cant get it working in ES-DE. have the games in the right folder can see them in ES-DE but says "ERROR: coudnt find emulator ryujinx, is emulator ryujinx propperly installed" idk what to do.

@@JustJamie1983 i already did that but ES-DE wont show me in the option for the "switch" to set an alternative emulator it worked before with yuzu but wont work with Ryujinx somehow. now im kinda clueless.

Only if emulation can get me new releases like tekken 8 street fighter 6 it would be worth my time but you can’t get first party games your paying to play old titles nothing is yours but with ultimate game pass you get new releases on day 1 with plus extra you might get a new release on day 1 like stray and Sea of the stars if emulation does that I’ll love to pay for emulation I have mame 32 that doesn’t cost me a penny I get all the arcade classic from the 80’s 90’s

Emulation is for collectors…. and anyone jumping into emulation has to have the understanding that you are getting a virtual system which is old and it plays games that were released for that specific system…. never going to happen…. not playing Tekken 8 on any old console whether it’s a physical or emulated system…. want newer games buy a newer system… those are the facts of life…. if you are worried about paying, there are plenty of emulation front ends out there… only cost to you is your time & effort…. and if old games aren’t worth your time… there are plenty of retailers out there who would love to have your business and sell you really expensive computers/systems

I am in dire need of help trying to make sense of anything and everything you just wrote.... a complaint about " emulation is not worth my time, because I can't get the newest games" is all I was responding to.... not sure what my age has to do with anything... ...and the person making the comment about Game Pass and then you reiterating the comment... "you don't own anything".... well, can you really compare the two? actually, I do own my stuff .... I purchased the discs and have them in a cd book under my television....I've had emulators since 2006.... I have 2 jailbroken PS3 systems with emulators on them and all my PS3 and PS2 games on their individual 1TB hard drives... I have Xenia with all my XBOX 360 games.... and as far as comprehension, I am pretty confident that there is a high percentage of people who would read the first person's comment and your comment, then walk away a little confused..... hey, what do I know?...but thanks for pointing out that I am not a good communicator. I barely graduated high school... but I did notice the person's comment was on big sentence without punctuation, and talking about 6-7 different subjects...... Game Pass is awesome, and yes, like Netflix, you don't own anything.

MAME is cool.... have you tried Tekno Parrot? It has a lot of "newer" arcade games... How about Demul? That emulator has a lot of SEGA arcade games that may not work MAME... look into it!
