You got it. IT takes so long to get good at guitar. This kids probably practiced since he was 5. Id also recommend getting a distortion petal if you dont think your achieving this type of tone.

Eruption is supposed to be a complicated ground breaking song, but every middle school and high school guitarist plays it at their school talent show every year.

I became very popular by playing in a band in high school. We played lots of parties and a few events. Before that, I was nobody! Now I've been playing guitar for 46 years and play 2-3 hours every day!

@@donniejean I don't think that's really a justifiable statement to make. You don't bend with your fingers as much as you do with your wrist. If you're using your fingers, your doing it wrong.

Sick! I played Van Halen in my high school talent show this year! You need to work on your chops a bit, your a little sloppy. Keep working on it! Also cool band man. EDIT: the recording for my talent show is on another channel I think its called "Vance RLT Talent Show 23". I did the talent show before I got my Charvel so i was pretty out of tune lol.

Young man, u have great potential, however, u need 2 sharpen ur skills 2 play and sound like Eddie Van Halen. U r n middle school and have a lot of time 2 practice. Also, do ur homework man, just in case u fail 2 play like Eddie. U will at the very least have something 2 fall back on. Good luck dude, Eddie is extremely difficult 2 copy. He can be mastered but it will consume a great deal of ur time 2 do so. Keep on rocking guy😉🤟🎸🎼🎶

work on your own style ... inspired from the greats . thats how you become an artist . its great to try and copy, but Eddy was a unique. like hendrix he was never satisfied with his voice . eddy had great chops but he was more concerned about tone and writing
