There never has been nor shall there ever be a better hero than Errol Fynn as Robin Hood. The cast, music, costumes, lines, set...everything top notch first class. That movie stands as one of the greatest most enjoyable films ever made. Like The Day The Earth Stood Still, The Time Machine, and War of the Worlds The Adventures of Robin Hood should never be remade. How can you improve on perfection? What a pity her manners do not match her looks your Highness! Good post Bariebel.

Thank you ever so much for your ever so kind words. It was my first try to make a video and I am not computer savvy. I always loved Errol Flynn from way back when and as his 50th year of death approached I thought it would be nice to do something for him. I made 4 videos as a sailor and a two part presentation to commemorate the World Star's movies and his private life. It had to be in two parts, because it was 15 minutes and You Tube only accepts 10 minute presentations. Thank you again..

Thank you very much for your kind comment. He was the greatest ever, nobody succeeded him in all the 50 years he id dead. Nobody has his charisma, his flamboyance, his charm, his looks, his caliber, his magnetism, his bravado or many other attributes he had! It is agreat pity that he was so viciously maligned all his life by envious people who never had to show anything for themselves. Vicious authors and "The Media" who have destroyed so many famous people in the past.

Hello Steven; I don't quite understand your comment as I do not say anywhere in my videao that Errol Flynn was an American. He was a true Australian even in his teperament botn in Hobart, Tasmania on June 29, 1909. I am not insulting his memory I would say to the contrary, I am paying tribute to him! You maybe should see PART 2 from my tribute, which is more of his life as Part 1 was a concentration on his Film carrier. Sorry you did not like it!

Errol got many chances and was showcased by a highly professional company, Warner Brothers. From what I have read, Errol would NEVER have been insulted to be taken for an American. Though noone has ever tried to portray him as such. My opinion is, if he had stayed in Australia, he would have never developed into the Star he became at Warner Bros. He would most likely remained unknown.
