impulse and augment by ERRA is like killing with a smile and horizons by parkway drive. First two are the best

Erra is so underrated. Everyone I turn onto erra falls in love. I mean, pattern interrupt? Dementia? Luminescence? The whole fucking augment album? They're fucking amazing, and idk how more people don't know Erra. Plus. Lead guitarist is a cutie

2:59 - Alan’s part here is so sick. Such underrated vocals. Sad that he’s long gone from Erra, but he’s still killin’ it to this day in The Artificials. I love all of Erra’s new stuff to death but man, it’d be so sick if he was still with them.

I've already watched these Impulse Sessions videos a thousand times and I just can't get enough of this, this band is simply epic in each detail. The guitar riffs and lyrics are so insane and beautiful that sometimes I wanna cry haha Erra is love

With ERRA, it feels like every section is a breakdown. EPIC!

Think this is probably my favourite Erra song. They seem to combine everything that they do so incredibly well starting off with a punchy rhythm and then making a seemless transition from the first half into the second half with a complete change in tone and tempo. Sick guitar, sick drums, sick vocals. Hope the new album brings more of a similar style to this.

all my favorite bands have unlimited re playability Erra just raises the bar everytime. These impulse session videos are incredible and give me a whole new appreciation for these songs.

Does anyone know how old these guys were when Impulse came out? They look like they are barely outta high school! Erra has quickly become one of my favorite bands after discovering them a couple of years ago. This older shit is so intense.

spoke to the band in person about this. Garrison was invested in college and personal life and alan wasnt really on the same page when it came to touring. hope this helps you sleep better tonight bc it haunted me for awhile until i was able to get an explanation as to why the best band (that could of been) got all fucked up
