Rumor of light is definitely my favourite track on the album. I've been listening to it nonstop, it's so good

Favorite Erra songs by album (what's yours?): Impulse - The Architect, Render the Void Augment: Spirits Away, Prometheus, Rebirth Moments of Clarity: Our Translucent Forever, Moments of Clarity Drift: Orchid, Sleeper, Continuum Neon: Expiate, Valhalla, Breach, Ghost of Nothing Self-Titled: Vanish Canvas, Eidolon (Feels like the first song that's reminiscent of Prometheus), Nigh to Silence Cure: Rumor of Light, Idle Wild, Glimpse, End of Excess (Ending breakdown is simply chefs kiss) There's nowhere to mention Eye of God, but that song is perfection as well. My absolute favorite is The Architect. The vocal melodies kill me to this day, and I know they'll never play it live, but I can dream. I missed their early shows where they actually played it and that will forever bum me out. No one does what Erra does. They literally are the creators and perfectors of their style. Every year Erra drops a new album is a good year. Thanks Kings!

That breakdown makes me feel things I didn't know existed 😂

Sounds legit

As someone on a path to recovering from a really bad mental health episode, this songs lyrics encapsulate exactly how i felt during those first few weeks, luckily therapy has been helping me cope with things and begin the path to healing. "you’re on the backtrack crawling your way out the light inside you carry is weighed down"

My favorite track from the record. Crushing, melodic, atmospheric, all the things I love from ERRA.

The super deep tone with Jesse also toned down honestly gave me some volumes- bend vibes. I really love the production in this album, the low and mid tones slap so fucking hard. I like that Jesse is continuing to experiment with vocals. The juxtaposition of his ethereal voice with the punchy guitar and drums is so satisfying. My favorite band

I think the guitars are digitally pitch shifted as well, he's getting such pure 8 string sounds on a 7. The mids and lows are absolutely monstrous. Blast this in a car with a full system, you don't even get ear fatigue from the cymbals, they're so well "melted" into the mix. One of the best engineered ERRA albums ever.

Jesse really went off on this album JT and him vocals mesh so well.

Yeah this seems to be the modern and popular direction for many of the proggy/metal core/djent bands now. Add in synth, electronic, and atmospheric sounds that feel transcendental. Erra has done it well.

Welp.. didn't really get into the singles until the end (kinda like the S/T) but I've been loving the actual album. JT's delivery is faster that it's ever been, he's practically spitting fire. And Jesse's cleans have a slightly different edge than they had on GA tracks. More enjoyable the more I listen, absolutely.
