😢😢 this area has since 1999 produced 3 governors namely: Achike Udenwa, Rochas Okorocha and currently Hope Uzodimma. Yet none could use their good office to work towards sustainable solution to this problem or facilitate federal government agencies to address the ecological disaster. That's an indication that politicians are not bothered with the daily problems of the masses. An oil producing zone, yet nothing to show for the wealth taken away from this zone.

When Lagos State experiences such, you guys are always laughing - no one called on Federal Govt, now it's in your region, you are calling on Federal govt, what happened to your state governors? The issue of flooding and natural disaster are a world thing. Similar thing happened in California. Sadly, more will happen, as the world gets hotter, and climate conditions become unbearable - floods will increase etc See what happened in UAE this year, Saudi Arabia etc These are completely dessert areas. How much more Nigeria, that's why when i see your brothers and sisters laughing at Lagos State, wishing the State sunk, i laugh, because, if other regions of Nigeria are below sea level as Lagos is, they would have ceased to exist.

There is no playing each other. It begins and ends with the leadership in the state. That erosion was there in 1990s. It has progressively worsened and encroaching into people’s homes. Rochas Okorocha embezzled so much money while Hope Uzodinma has totally destabilized Imo State in the name of fighting IPOB. He will soon finish his tenure and the trail of trauma he inflicted on the people lingers and nobody says a word.

Do you suppose to write directly to the federal government. Where is your local chairperson. You start from there . Because the governor will say you never reported.
