Yeah the story on this song is on theo vons podcast with these two, Ernst and Luke were on a golf course and wrote this song while sending jelly roll clips of it and getting his input

This song gives me hope. I went to jail and psych hospitals for 6 1/2 years. I learned a lot about myself and life with all the books I read. I plan on going back to college (more motivated than ever). I also have dreams of getting into the music industry. Some people who've heard me are working on getting me free studio time. I disagree with the statement "it (jail) teaches us a lesson " it is really just a whole bunch of criminals in prison doing drugs and coming out worse than they were when put in there. The thing that I find to be so unreal is the way this country doesn't care to help ppl get out of that dark, scary place most of the ppl in prison have gone to without even realizing how lost and addicted to dope they really are and by the time they do realize it they're full fledge addicts who need the dope to function. Anyway it's never gonna change unless the quacks put into office as our leaders are gotten rid of and a complete change in congress happens so I wouldn't hold my breath!

Love the song! It's good the stigmas are being brought down by the awareness and the life stories of people like Jelly Roll. I get so emotional listening to Jelly Roll speak about his past and reminding us that we ARE ALL worthy.
