Erling Haaland is the best striker in world football

What’s most impressive, to me, is the amount of different goals. Left foot right foot head, inside box outside the box. He’s truly incredible and I’m enjoying watching him. Elite mentality and generational talent. Records will be smashed while trophies lifted both for club and personal.

Crazy that for some this would be a career highlight reel, this is just a few months for this guy.

He is phenomenon , he will be the next best player in the world .

Even the 8 assists he has have been really good. Driven ball across goal to Gundo, the absolutely gorgeous ball he played to Phil in the derby, the cross for Bernardo in UCL. I mean he scores goals that look easy sometimes because of how good his positioning is but you cant say hes not a good footballer. His buildup has gotten so much better and he has really been able to find his teammates and create chances, not just finish them. He probably has the most latent ability and potential than any one else in football right now

For a guy that tall he's made some great acrobatic goals.

@@ofamosozedopicadinho7983othing is wrong with it, its just hard to do so. the bigger you are the harder it is to move, your center of gravity is higher. hes not just acrobatic, he is lightning fast too. his top speed was 35.6km/h. to do that when youre 6’5 and a footballer, its crazy.

As a goal scorer I’m beginning to agree with you. Goal scoring is different to being a great footballer so he’ll never be a Messi but it’s easily the most important part of football. If he carries on like this then I’m going to rate him above Messi even though Messi is a greater footballer.

To those who are saying these are tap ins only. Are tap in banned for other players? What about the city striker before Halaand( am talking about Aguero)? The midfield was still as good as it is today. Haaland is just too good and fast and doesn't give u time to think, if u even watch football then u will realise that these moments in which haaland scores comes in every match for almost all teams and they mess it up. Haaland is just too good at scoring goals and doesn't give a split second and will fire in empty space. There are many more good mid fields but they don't have haaland to finish it. The guy just knows the empty space and is insanely fast and so casual that it looks insanely easy. If u actually watch football then these moments come in every match, he is just too good of a finisher.

Yes tap ins are important but as one of the greatest to ever do it said: "there is a huge difference between a great goalscorer and a great player". Haalanf finishes great plays, he doesn't create them.

Dafuq? Haaland is world class, but have you ever seen Ronaldo and Messi 10 years ago? They scored 50 plus goals each season and they're not even strikers. They also provided 15 plus assists each season. They literally dribbled through 6 players, kicked belters from 30 meters, made crazy passes through the whole defensive line with one flick, nutmegged anyone on a whim, had world class off ball movement, had world class positioning... etc. xD They literally made football look like a play station game xD

According to stats only 3 of his almost 200 career goals is considered tap-ins (people just throw that word around and think a tap-in equals a goql scored inside the 16 m and only when Haaland scores). There are so many ignorant people. Haaland always moves away from defenders and find space and knows where the ball will come cause he has an instict and reads the play better than anyone. He is always moving and most goals he has scored inside the box he comes flying in. He always puts humself in the right position. Thats how he has scored lots of his goals, and they arent tap-ins. He never stand and wait for the ball which is a tap-in.
