The way I heard this story: God asked a duck/the devil to swim to the bottom of the ocean and get some mud so he create the earth. He told Satan to gather the mud in the name of God. But Satan said, "I gather this mud in the name of Satan." Hence, Satan rules the earth and not God.

Actually they are all major spirits of nature and universe. They were not known as gods. The one creator in Türk mythology is Tanrı/Tengri which is the same as Ellohim/Allah of Hami/Sami religion.

Both Kayra and Erlik are very powerful spirits, not "Gods" per se. Very powerful interdimensional/suprauniversal beings, but not "gods". The only "God"(as THE almighty, omnipresent and omniscient Creator, which every other "thing" is HIS own "creation", including those powerful beings) is Tengri. So in Abrahamic context, Tengri is akin to Allah/Elohim.

IE: In "Imperial Tengriism", which is strictly monotheistic, you do not "worship" Kayra, Erlik, Ülgen etc. Though one can "ask for help or guidance" from them(BTW This is also strictly forbidden in Abrahamic understanding, since it would mean "contact with daemons" and thus, "magic" ). One only worships Tengri(The exact same context with Allah/Elohim), knows and acknowledges NOTHING can happen without His will, and if He doesn't allow, neither your king, human lord nor any of those very very powerful beings combined can help you. So one usually puts the phrase "...by the Will of Tengri" at the end of chants.

Ok lets get this straight. There are thousands of believes and interpretations about Altaic mythologies. Some say it is a pantheon which includes hundreds of gods, some say that there were only one god ulgen/kayra (mostly the same creature but here I animated the mongolic version which says these two were different gods in a pantheon) and others were just good spirits. There are no evidence that says there were angels in Turkic mythology. In these videos i just processed the stronger belief because believe me there are endless forms of story of creation in Turkic mythology because it is the widest and deepest mythology as we know.
