People tend to forget that the world of MT has a different code of ethics and morals. Rudy noticed this in the first season, is also stated by nanahoshi in the second season, and can be encountered in different points of the story as it progresses. - Incest isn't a big issue in their world - Polygamy is a bigger issue than incest as far as IK - Sleeping with beastkin isn't considered cheating from Eris's POV though rudy never did it anyway - What Eris did to Ars was normal in their world even Roxy and sylphie didn't stop her and as far as I know Ars initiated the duel in the first place

People r completely misunderstanding the whole thing, Eris is not abusing any of the kids. Eris don't punish the kids for nothing, she only did it when the kids did something really wrong/bad. The kids later admit they were wrong and knew red mama was right for spanking them, that why she is still beloved by the kid as red mama. Eris is also quite fair in her punishment, everyone get it, boy girl any kid from any mom get the spanking. Another thing people miss is that if Eris was punishing the kids wrongly, she would be stop by any other adult member of the family but the fact she rarely got stop by anyone meaning her action was approve and she was right to punish them according to all the adult member that didn't stop her

@@neopolitan9156 no she didn't, let not count the aisha chapter for now, Eris hand out punish while holding back a lot (with Eris power she could just one hit kill all the kids easily and all they got was a red butt) and it never deem as overpunish coz the adult in house didn't stop her or ask her to tone it down. If you read some of thing the kids did that lead to Eris punish them, you can understand that Eris only hand out punishment when the kids did something really bad, for example: Lara prank go too far with potential of causing injury, Lucy badmouth about Lilia as if she was only a low maid etc etc. Ofc coz Eris was only one hand out the punish make it look like she abusing the kid or overpunish them but it can't be help it, the rest of the house r too soft on the kids and Rudeus not home often so someone need to take on the role of a strict parent.

I love eris but she isnt a gentle mother and having her as the only wife would've caused family issues especially with rudy always being on work. Slyphy and roxy really keeps this balanced in this regard both as lovers and mothers

Just so you know how messed up it is. In a deleted arc of light novel. Aisha elope with Ars and later got pregnant with ars child...... Yeah it was incest. Later they got married and have a child named leroy after both were disowned and removed from greyrat family tree.

not really she only punishes them whenever is needed and when the adults think she overdid it they would stop her. I would say this is because Reudues and the other family members being too kind and unable to punish the kids properly leading to Eris doing it.
