@K B I’m not saying she’d be guilty of being a co-conspirator but by filling for divorce before he was indicted on criminal charges she was at least able to walk away with what she had and won’t be on the hook to pay for damages in the event Tom is found guilty. If they remained married and he was found guilty Erika would be liable to make payments to the victims.

Even if she did not know and did not have anything to do with it, she should still express her disapproval, sadness and anger for what Tom did to the victims. I would have way more respect for her, if she had taken that approach.

Erika's legal problems with her husband have been the show and the rest have been capitalizing on it. I will say that about the situation. But now Dorit's robbery will take some of the attention away from Erika, and whatever little dramas they come up with like Rinna claiming they had a table at that charity.

I don't have a dog in this fight but let's be honest there is no way to prove that at no point in your marriage you didn't benefit from your husband and his alleged fraud whether his firm was involved or not. I can't understand why you couldn't just be humble and apologize. "I am sincerely sorry for anyone who was harmed in the fraud. I am very sympathetic to Erika. I had my entire life demolished by a family member who betrayed my trust. I have had to start over single, broke and w/o any help from fair weather friends or bio family @ 35 y/o. If I would have had a camera on myself the last 14 months, I would have had many ugly moments in the depths of my pain.

He was most definitely in charge. She is not afraid to go against other men, but she most certainly had deference to her own husband. Now, I'm also going to ask. How much of your own spouse's job are you aware of? Do you check their paperwork? Go through their systems? Do you check their work email? Do you check their work documents? No you don't. I barely know what my dad does, I know the job title, but do not have a concept of the daily tasks. Let alone an SO. I dont believe in checking people phones as thats an invasion of privacy. It is so unreasonable to assume someone that is not a lawyer should be checking lawyers work. Like who would do that? The law is super confusing and you have to train for years to decipher anything. Of course, she is going to defer to his expertise. If you thought your husband was a lying scumbag you wouldn't have married them. God forbid she trust her husband!! I know mnay people, including myself who have an SO or family member responsible for filling taxes for the family unit. Family trusts each other, largely that system works. Unfortunately, bad apples can mess it up for everyone. Again, I hope his estate can pay the victims. Erica should not be penalized for her husband's crimes.
