While taking a short break from school to visit family in Minnesota, I stopped in Excelsior to check out some awesome old iron (despite one no longer working) after hearing it over the summer. Sidenote: if you're around town, you gotta go to Maynards...AWESOME food!

There seems to be two of them! I love in Minnesota at it gets pretty cold here! Seeing how the one in Bellevue MI is doing right now, it makes me wonder how well those two are doing here in Minnesota. I also wonder which one's used for weather and which one's used for fire.

Maybe one siren was high tone for fires and the other low tone one was an air raid siren? Seems to old for that tho
Are the two sirens identical?? Was there a time they went off together??

They are the same brand, but people are saying the one on the bottom would have sounded more like a model 5, but yes they were both probably used way back then.
