Hi Lance, We were there 2nd to the 8th. Conditions were great but we missed the fresh dump, which as a boarder was gutted about. Erica- the dog- my son and daughter had lessons with Habi(maybe spelt Xabi) the dogs owner. Owner and Dog, fantastic. Anyone looking for a lesson, go see ski point, he’ll look after you. (If Bansko blog is fully booked of course) In answer to your Covid question, we all got home fine, but seemingly just in the nick of time! We were a party of 9 but 3 failed their PCR’s when they arrived home. Town was quiet, but food was fantastic value as always. Although the new place ‘Gingerland’ (think it’s called) was very disappointing! Hope everyone has a great time in Bansko if your travelling out there in the coming weeks. See you next year X

Take a look at some of the past videos here on this channel and you will see that often the snow is really good at that time. So my personal view is yes come late March or early April.

Hi Lance, we’re looking at hiring skis at ski mania. Do you recommend them? We plan to ski from 23rd-29th but do you know if we would be able to collect/fit the skis on the 22nd before close without paying an extra day?

Typically, it will be cheaper to get a taxi up. The Kempinski and some 5 star hotels offer a vip pass. Usually in February it is worth it.
