LaShawn was a good guy. I knew him & his family personally. We went to the same church for a while and my family and I spent many Christmas Eves at his home. He loved the Lord and had such a big heart! His legacy will always live on. RIP Big Shizz ❤️🙏🏽

Christians keep commenting on songs like this saying they're "too worldly blah blah blah". If all gospel songs were just slow songs with pianos, a choir, & a solo vocalist singing long riffs & runs, people would get bored of it and turned off by gospel music. We can't share the message the same way ALL the time, or else some people will never get it. This speaks to certain types of people and while it may not speak to you, there's nothing ungodly about the lyrics & the video seems appropriate to me. She did something new & different to reach people who otherwise wouldn't even THINK about God.

That's right. This generation is not with the slow gospel, we have to get on their level to pull them in. And if it takes this music, the words of the music is what's important. To do that, then so be it. My dad was an apostle, he told us that younger generation was more important than the older because the enemy was out to destroy them. Yes, we have to monitor the music but we can show them that christians can have fun in the boundary of living for Jesus.

Of what benefit is a musical work that doesn't capture it's full identity. All religions claim to love(luh????) God. Christ differentiates a Christian and Christianity isn't a religion but a relationship. However, I expect more of Christ and less of of hippy. God knows those who are His.

Ministers and various people are reaching to the youth and getting them to come to church. Sometimes church folk get so high and mighty that you forget that you too are a sinner and everyone is born a few days and full of sin. I am a Christian and I LOVE GOD. Jesus Christ died for my sins and the sins of the world so that I may have a chance at life and have it abundantly. I lost my wife at 38 and I also lost my Job. I saw my life turning around for the best when I met Lyra holt Dean at a church service in New York (google her name) and ask your questions and pray because its GOD doing.
