I can relate to that. Mom and dad split when I was 2. He lived 10 minutes from me and never wanted to reach out. He passed when I was 21 or 22. We had met and hung out a few times but not much when I was 16 or so. Him passing was harder than I thought it would have been. But I think that made me want to be around for my future kids, be there for my future wife, and absolutely bust my tail to make it happen. It’s a never ending journey.

I lost my daddy when I was 11 years old and I didn't realize exactly how much it affected my whole life until recently. Now that I have the Father though, my entire life has changed in ways I could never have imagined.

Jus recently lost my dad life sho slowed down a bit for me but he showed me all the tools to make it out here.... Love you Dad S.l.P

Thank you for this message I’m a survivor from daddy issues. I’ve been making so many mistakes dealing with man. Now since I came to understand my daddy is gone passed away, but my Heavenly Father always been with me he’s my savior and guidance 🙏🏾

I agree with everything that he said about the effect of a divorce when the father disappears. It’s very painful and the pain never ever goes away. And it’s very hard to be optimistic about anything. It’s very difficult to not hurt others when you’re hurting every second of the day, even when you’re “happy”.

Honestly I don’t know what I would have become without a father 100% Thankful 🙏🏾 for my dad.

I had a father, but my father made me not trust no one. I shldnt say, but he molested me amd rape. I have daddy issues. I feel I walk i lost but thanks to our Lord and Savior. He will never fail me. Made me lost of his actions but my soul never stops for the real Father and a Father I wish I had here in the flesh.
